Russian authorities accused Ukraine of trying to carry out drone strikes on the Kremlin overnight to assassinate President Vladimir Putin, and warned of possible retaliation.

Ukraine's government denied any involvement, accusing Moscow of using the incident as a pretext for escalating attacks in Ukraine.

"We regard these actions as a planned terrorist act and an attempt on the life of the president," the Kremlin said.

Putin was not in the building at the time of the alleged attack, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian state news agency RIA Novosti.

The Kremlin said no one was harmed and there was no material damage as a result of the falling fragments of destroyed drones.

This link doesn't have the best video I've seen so here it is embedded in an MSNBC story, where you can clearly see a drone detonate.

Although nobody could blame Ukraine for wanting to do something like this, this hardly looks like a serious attempt to kill a foreign leader, does it?

Assuming it's even a Ukrainian mission, which I do not.

What's up with this? False Flag? Tik Tok kids?

I can’t think of any manner of escalation Russia is capable of doing that they’d need a false flag to do other than WMDs. And they would most certainly lie and say Putin was there to add extra excuse.

On the other hand unless Ukraine thought Putin was on the roof, there’s no reason to think a serious assassination attempt was being made.

Which leaves this being a mostly symbolic “look what we can do” demonstration to put Putin and the Russian people on notice that the war can affect them all quite personally

LOL, Putin failed on his Nazis are in Ukraine, the Biolabs for Covid weapoons are in Ukraine, and other attempts to justify his invasion of Ukraine. Bear in mind, a Russian jet bombing a Russian city. So, it is possible the same thing happened here or maybe this was an actual coup by the Russian militiary or at least certain members of the Russian military.

So you think this is an official (Ukrainian Government) authorized mission to put the Russian people on notice?

I don't, and I highly doubt the average Russian would even hear about this.

But I always wished I had seen "Putin on the Roof" when Topol was alive...

Lol.. is Russia telling the world their air defense sucks if two Iranian manufactured drones given or sold to Ukraine made it to the Kremlin undetected? These people can't even tell a simple lie.

Clearly, to my mind, a false flag op. Someone just happened to be recording it, and it just blew up harmlessly, above the building. Best of all, was the overnight hour, when it seems to have occurred-- when it is known that Putin does not live in the Kremlin, but an hour outside of Moscow.

That first video, which everyone is showing, doesn't even look real, to me.

And if it was an assassination attempt on Putin, in the middle of the night, why wouldn't it occur at his residence, an hour outside of Moscow, where he sleeps?

It could be a rehearsal for the May Day celebration. They were testing their targeting accuracy for the real attack.
Most likely, it’s a false flag stunt by putin to distract from his failures in Ukraine.
