its amazing-for the next 100 years, every sort of screw up by the fans of the creeping crud of collectivization and leftwing authoritarianism will be defended by citations to the minor riot on 1.6

Supreme Court justices are not party affiliated so Democrats have never had a majority on the SC. Neither have Republicans.

But the last time the SC was dominated by "liberal" justices was when Ginsburg died.

No irony that a Senator would make this accusation.

Let's disassemble that bit of nonsense, shall we. 1. Dem's aren't losing their minds. They are pointing out that conservative justices, Thomas in particular, have engaged in multiple ethics violations over a number of years......and in Clarence's case violations of the law. 2. Dem's are not pointing this out because they can't control it. They're pointing it out because it compromises the public's faith in the impartiality of the highest court in the land. And because Chief Justice Roberts refuses to address the problem.

Based on your comment you appear to be avoiding the real issue. I can see why.

There's a simple reason liberals are up in arms about this. When you don't have good arguments you work to rig the system instead.

Check out what happened Monday that started this nonsense.

    This isn't about the senate.

Feel free to start your own thread about that, I might even agree with you in it.

    Don't try to derail mine.

    That's a lie.

Why do you people think it's ok to lie like that?

still cannot understand what the the term lie means.

a lie would be say someone who is hateful about gun ownership and wants to impose all sorts of restrictions on honest gun owners and then claims they aren't anti gun.

Precisely why the Supreme Court need be answerable, like everyone else in government, to a code of ethics.

The Court's having one of those, BTW, would in no way equate to the SCOTUS being controlled, by Congress (much less, by specifically the Democrats, as postulated in your post's irrational calculus).

    And the Democrats'
first proposal (& still viable option) had been that the Court adopt its own ethics code. Democrats are only putting one forth, in lieu of the Court's taking this responsible step, itself. So that part of your utterly inconsistent logic, would technically, I believe, be a straw man.

LOL ... like the way republican vermin trump and mcconnell rigged the supreme court by shoving the handmaid down our throats in record time just days before a presidential election?

The current supreme court is 67% conservative (filth).

Do you think this is a 67% conservative country?

No. That would be the "Case of the Stolen Election" by Donald J. Trump (forward by Michael Flynn).

Are you saying that corruption in government should not be addressed?

Because the Supreme Court was highly regarded when liberals had the majority in the court.

Like it or not, that's the way the system works. These people are appointed, not elected.

And it's looking increasingly like the vermin and filth are going to finally be able to purge the corruption of the Deep State regardless of the uncreative names you call us.
