Because he was the President! The face of the Democratic Party before we knew WHO he would be running against. And having been one of the most successful presidencies in the last 50+ years, Trump was most definitely running against Obama at that point.

You can say in 2010 he was a leading voice demanding his birth certificate and still be accurate. You can say he was a birther and still be accurate. You can say he wanted to see his college transcripts and still be accurate.

You can not say he summoned the devil and still be accurate. You can not say his first act in office was to open an FBI investigation into the birth certificate and still be accurate. You can not say his campaign was founded on the notion that Obama was born in Kenya and still be accurate. It is as simple as that.

The claim in number 1 is such a nonsensical exaggeration and would have clearly been a moot point by the time his campaign came to pass, that it is rated a big fat lie.

 

Actually if you believe in the Devil, you can say that and you may or may not be wrong. You can neither say definitively he did pray to the devil nor that he did not.

To accurately make that claim one would need proof of such. It is not a discussion of what anyone could possibly imagine in their head as to what might have taken place.
