The terrorists were Trump inspired goons who attacked the Capital. I did not hear Nancy or Schumer call the Jan 6 terrorist attackers Republicans. The term “deplorable” is a deplorable term used by Hillary not the DNC. The tuition forgiving program is in my opinion wrong just as wrong as Trump’s tax cut for the rich elites. You or anyone can pick out a program that a NON Socialist country which a socialist country may employ does not make that entire country a socialist country. Do you realize that insurance is a “socialist” process? You, me , your neighbor and my neighbor have paid and are paying for the loses the insurance companies had from Katrina the last bad hurricanes floods, fires, tornados in the country? The insurance companies have reinsurance agreements where the various insurance companies buy each others risks. That is a form of spreading the risk. Take homeowners insurance when especially there is a catastrophic loss that loss is spread around the country. So even if you as I do not live in an area that had catastrophic losses are paying in increased insurance rates resulting from the various events I noted. In Florida there is a pile of insurance companies who have and will go out of business because the fools did not spread their risks or did not spread them enough.

Insurance is basically based on the principal of sharing the risk. Sharing the risk can be considered a “socialist” type process.
Do your want to outlaw insurance ??

After closing their account and NCRF inquiring as to why their account was closed, the bank demanded from them-

    • A list of NCRF’s donors;
    • A list of political candidates NCRF intended to support; and
    • An explanation of the criteria NCRF used to determine its endorsements and support.1

Doesnt sound as though it had anything to do with "fraudulent payments or charge-backs". Silly assumption.

Revealing that you think the people here are stupid enough to believe that 19 AG's is actually only two.

Cancelling people and organizations bank accounts for their beliefs isn't a matter of criminal law.

I was going by who singed that letter that someone posted the link for here. Later I saw an article that said 19. There are so many accusations and law suits floating around I don’t pay much attention to such gang bang nonsense.

Ignored that questionably legal activities think didn't you? Make whatever assumptions you want, but since this involves specific account holders, Something is getting the computers to flag them. As for the NCRF, it was only created last year and this happened last year so it is unlikely that noob organization got flagged for pure political reasons despite how trendy it is to claim persecution among the right.

So you would deny the ability to protest in the USA? A Constitutional right? A relatively small, disorganized, unarmed group occupied ONE BUILDING for a few hoirs and you call them "terrorists" like the guys that killed 3,000 on 9/11. That seems a bit hysterical. On that spectrum where do the BLM and Antifa folks that burned Minneapolis, Kenosha, Ferguson, La Mesa, Baltimore and the rest fall? Oh... they were liberal left so its ok. Do you see how silly you sound?

Trump's tax reuction was not just for the rich. he lowered taxes IN ALL BRACKETS. He included many things like making interest payments on education loans tax deductible. Do think THAT was for the rich? Or for families and individuals struggling to pay education loans? Your claim is simply untrue.

Insurance is PAID FOR. Insurance covers folks that have policies they PAY FOR. In an emergency, federal funding becomes available because ITS AN EMERGENCY. Part of the government's mandate is keeping citizens from dying. Do you understand that?

"Sharing risk is "socialist"? I'm not sure what planet THAT comes from. Socialism is giving free stuff to lazy people and making achievers pay for it. Emergencies don't fit in there.

I pay premiums for insurance. If you don't want insurance... don't get it.

I must admit that I have seen lots of people with lots of personal peeves online... from war to foreign aid to illegal immigration to national pandemics to runaway inflation and more. This is the first time I ever saw anyone have a hard on for insurance!

You're mixing your conversations. The comment about CONVICTION IN A COURT OF LAW was about folks calling Trump a criminal without any conviction. It had nothing to do with your bank conversation.

Yes and legal marijuana sales are done in cash because the sellers can't get bank accounts. I remember when Dell computer refused to sell computing equipment to gun dealers. Someone needs to tell them that the money owned by people on both sides of the political aisle has exactly the same value. I have no problem with people boycotting businesses because they don't like their practices but boycotting the public by businesses is just plain incompetence.

The Jan 6 are called terrorists e cause they beat Capital building, threatened the Vice President, terrorized members, staff and members of VP Pences’s family, shouted that they wanted to hang the VP for NOT committing voter crimes, …and more….. Those are not the activities of demonstrators those are the activities of criminal of terrorists.

You and I are paying higher premiums for loses that are not ours. As I pointed out a family in Bar Harbor Maine had their property insurance premiums raised for loses that insurance companies paid in Louisiana, Texas, Alabama , Florida etc for hurricane damage and we all pay for tornado damage in tornado valley. You paid for loses that are not to your property and so did I. That is a principal of socialism in insurance it is called sharing the risk. You help pay for my property loses as I help pay for yours. Insurance companies spread the premium costs to everyone of their insureds. This is very profound after major storms especially if such events are in sequential years.

You think that you are being cute by saying if you do not want insurance do not buy it. Well if I was in a financial position to cover the cost of a potential total loss of my dwelling I could choose to be self insured. I do not have that level of financial resources but if you do then “go bare” as we in the insurance industry call going without insurance.
In the opening rounds of this discussion I said that there are policies or actions that are used by socialists and non socialists entities in common. A non socialist e.g. capitalist country may use a same policy as does a socialist country but that not make the capitalist country socialist. I said that social security and unemployment payments is a policy that socialists pushed for back at the end of the 19th century we a non socialist country employ that concept. I know you will rant that social security is a Democratic Party policy and you will claim albeit falsely that Democrats are socialists and communists but you as usual will be dead wrong.
PS I do not have a hard for insurance , I spent almost 40 years in the insurance industry initially in the property casualty claims department. I do not have the time or the space here to teach Insurance 101 so go and research and find out you are sharing payment for my premiums and I yours. You socialist you, LOL !

So all it takes to be a terrorist is to raise one's voice and make threats? I hear that from members of congress pretty often. :)

In case you didn't notice, radical, violent, left wing terrorists occupied the Capitol TODAY to protest the House bill regarding the possible default. Make sure you label THEM terrorists too. Same place. Same thing. Different day.

I was in a bar the other night and a guy there was shouting what he'd do to pence if he ever met him in a dark alley. I guess he's a terrorist too... huh?

You must have a really lousey insurance agent. He/she is not doing right by you. You should shop around and get better coverage. Before I graduated West Point I had USAA insurance for the new car I got my senior year... 73 years ago. Since then I have insured a number of cars with USAA. My home is insured with USAA. My furnishings and other goods are insured with USAA. They've done GREAT. Their rates are good and their service has been impeccable.

I could not be happier with USAA.

No you are trying to twist the facts. The Jan 6 gang could have voiced their opinion and even verbally threatened Congressional members and VP Pence without using violence by entering the Capital. The fact that they used violence and caused damage to humans and property to gain entry to the Capital to terrorize Congress is what makes them terrorists.
They had every right to gather and voice their opinion as wrong as I know it is but not the right to cause harm to people and property. So the difference is they acted out as criminals and not peaceful citizens expressing their opinion.

Violence? They were UNARMED. What violence? Breaking a window? So the BLM and Antifa that burned down Kenosha, Minneapolis, Baltimore, Ferguson, Seattle, La Mesa and the rest that destroyed whole sections of cities were ok... but breaking windows in ONE BUILDING is VIOLENCE?

The Jan 6 terrorist hurt people and they did not just break widows they broke windows to gain entry into the Capital. What the Jan 6 Trump terrorist supporters did is not in any way justified by what other groups have done.
One criminal act does not justify another. You know that but you refuse to accept reality and are constantly trying to paint the Jan 6 terrorists either as saints or you justify the actions Trump’s criminals based what other criminals have done. You appear to be in denial that Trump’s terrorists did anything wrong. You keep trying to convince those of us who know better that hurting Capital police is not a “peaceful act.

The protesters were UNARMED. The only person SHOT was an unarmed woman, a veteran, coming in a window. I never painted them as saints. That is simply no true. Please try to stop that. Saying things that aren't true puts your credibility in doubt.
The protesters were unarmed. The only person shot was an unarmed protester.

An maybe unarmed terrorist protester that was illegally entering the Capital moving in a threatening way toward a Capital police officer with other violent protesters around her. The policeman was standing his ground and defending persons and property. You ignore the fact that groups like the proud boys were organized and committed violent acts against the Capital police and the Capital. Do you actually believe that Capital security and the secret service ( for Pence and family) evacuated Congress members because some saintly people were forcing their way into the capital to have a prayer session?
You are in denial. The Trump Jan 6 “protesters were violent you are either in denial or you know the truth that they were violent and committed crimes.
Why do you think so many were arrested and found guilty?
My final point is the Jan Trump protesters were violent and all the facts support my conclusion. I have spoken! EOS

They weren't "saintly people". No one has used that description but YOU.... JUST YOU. The only person shot was unarmed and coming through a window. If you think coming through a window justifies deadly force then you have no understanding of the concept. Please stop the silly "prayer session" dialogue. It really makes you look silly.
Trespassers are indeed perpetrating an illegal act. A $50 dollar fine is absolutely appropriate.

$50; dollar fine fir smashing window, crushing police with doors, using all sorts of items as battering rams to smash in door, hitting police with flag poles and all sorts of things , injuring police, on and on and all you admit to is trespassing. That is just ridiculous and you know it. You are not even trying to have an honest conversation. I am done with this nonsense of yours.

Door or window it does not matter she was breaking and entering illegally in a threatening manner. Many police were injured that that by Trump’s terrorists entering the Capital. If that was a BLM criminal trying to illegally trying to enter the CAPITAL while his/ her terrorist friends were injuring Capital police I bet you say otherwise.
