Take care of yourself, and I pray for a full recovery.

And I have more problems. According to tests run by my primary care physician, I have a suspiciously low blood count. They are wondering if I have internal bleeding somewhere. I was asked to study my stool for blood. Haven't seen any yet though.

I was told that I might require a full blood transfusion
More tests will be run in the future of course. l

I did get some pretty good news from my foot doctor today though They cut own the size of the boot I'm wearing.

    All for the moment.

Black stools can be a sign of bleeding.

I never knew that a heart could result in such severe memory loss (or did I really suffer a stroke as has been claimed also?) but anyway. I know something has severely scrambled my memories.

Prime example, in 1981 I started my fanatical obsession with football. Nashville, the country seat of my home Howard County began a remarkable playoff run. My dad and I went to the quarter final game which nashville won (I think they did anyway. I then listened to their game in the semi finals obsessively. Nashville was beaten by Cabot which ran a somewhat anachronistic dead tee offense and had prevailed that season thanks to an enormous offensive line 14-13.

For more than 30 years that game has been ingrained in my mind.

    Trouble is, it never happened.

I became suspicious when I was studying this years copy of Hottten's Arkansas Football. The annual guide to the upcoming season. They put one out in Texas as well. The school I remembered beating Nashville was not listed anywhere. It was as though it had disappeared. And I remembered that it was supposedly a pretty big school so there is no way that would've happened. I realized that I had only my memories to go on and that wasn't enough. Further research showed that it wasn't my imaginary school that beat Nashville in the playoffs 14-13 but Newport.

How could I believe something for more than THIRTY YEARS and it turn out NOT to be true?!?!!? That goes well beyond the ind scrambling effects of a head injury.

    The human brain!
I had an argument with a fruit shop assistant about the existence of yellow fleshed nectarines. I was adamant that there was no such thing and I’ve been eating nectarines all my life.
I don’t think I’m mad yet, but this was a very odd occurrence.

Can you prove that you have believed this match? Did you tell your wife or friends about it, many years ago? If you did, then that would show that this isn’t a short term delusion.

Well my tests came back negative. What ever else is going on inside my body apparently internal bleeding is not going on which of course is good.

We went to the Clements family reunion on Saturday at Lake Hamilton (Amy's mothers family)) There are fer and fewer of them every year so it was good to see them. This next Saturday we're going to the 2022 Kitchens family Christmas (my family) which has obviously been delayed repeatedly. Hopefully next year we will manage to celebrate Christmas at a more reasonable and appropriate date.

I'm finding more and more thing from "memory" that I think now were false. Each of which shake me to the core every time that happens

    All till later

I haven;t updated in awhile or often enough so this was definitely on my "to do" list today. We went to Walmart about noon and I got my hair cut fairly short at the beauty shop inside. I had desperately needed a haircut so I was glad to get it Been following the events in Russia (Wagner Group Rebellion) with great interest.

By all appearances it is going to be an ungodly hot summer It was already 94 when we were out. Ellory has been amazingly sweet. I was over there with Amy the other day. I fell asleep while sitting on her couch. Ellory was looking at me and Amy told her "Paw's gone night, night". Ellory responded by laying her head on my leg. Wish I had been awake to see that.

I love being a grandfather. My only further desire is that Annalee will have a son in the near future as well. I'm still having trouble with my memory both short and long term. Looks like I'm going to depend on Amy to remember my medication schedule for the foreseeable future. Still have no prospects for a job either I'm thinking that coaching football might not be my best option. Perhaps I' can try something less physically taxing like writing. Amy was happy to hear that.

    All for the time being.

At least it rurned cooler here. But I've been ill again. Extremely uncontrolled diarrhea for this last weekend and on Monday. I fowled half a cozen pairs of boxers Totally humiliating. And while I seem to have beaten that illness back for the time being It seems to have left me with some absolutely agonizing hemorrhoids.

Another major problem is that Amy and I have run out of money. We won't have any more until the last Weds day of the month when my disability check is auto deposited. Needless to say that hasn't helped mine and Amy's stress level. Amy (with great reluctance transferred $500 out of our savings account into our checking but that won't take plave until Thursday.

I could not go to dialysis on Monday so i had to go today and of course tomorrow. Fortunately it hasn't been difficult. Travis's birthday went well. I got to eat three small bowls of homemade ice cream at the part on Saturday. More than I had in years yet it didn't make me sick. Ellery had a great time at the party especially playing with Mandy's granddaughter the three year old Camile

    All for the time being.

You have my sympathy. All sounds rotten, except for ice cream and Ellery.

All is well so far today. The physical therapist and home health nurse have both come by today and they found everything well with me. I'm only troubled by pain in my knees (level 1) and a huge hemorrhoid (level 2). Both of those will go away in time I hope. I got my customized shoes on Friday and they've worked out well.

We took Ellery to church with us Sunday morning. She had never gone with us so it was enjoyable to show her to so many of the people we've known for the first time. She let three of the women there hold her without protest and got along well with the little boy in the nursery that was closest to her in age. Overall she seemed to enjoy church and behaved well. So overall it was a very good trip.

    All for the moment.

Another good day. Though my knees have been hurting. The heat here is truly ungodly. Around 100 degrees and humid. I wish it would rain soon even though it would drive the humidity up. Still. The home health nurse came today and the physical therapist yesterday. Murphy was happy to see both. Amy drove down to North Little Rock yesterday to meet with Karen Cook and Susan Stocksdill. Two women we knew from First Baptist Church in Norphlet when we went there off and on for years. Despite the drive she enjoyed it a great deal.

Thanks to Amy I've finally gotten an idea about everything that happened while I was in a coma (well I call it a coma though Amy said it was a "fugue state" It still boggles my mind. And I finally apologized to everyone that I had promised to give $1,000 dollars to after I thought my dad had given me 104,000 All forgave me. Donna said at least my heart was in the right place.

    All for the moment.

Haven't updated in awhile. My mouse has been giving me fits. I think the problem was the cord which had been kinked, tangled and the undone by me repeatedly. So although money is tight I had Amy pick me up a cordless one the other day. We're once again running out of money though we have learned to live far more frugally than we had been. Dialysis has gone well lately and I'm still driving myself there most of the time.

We took Murphy with us to Annalee's yesterday for Brandon to give a bath. He did his usual good job. Murphy looks and smells great. I went to church at Westside Church of Christ here in Searcy yesterday but next Sunday I'm going with Amy to First Baptist in Augusta and we're taking Ellory with us again. I can't wait for that again of course. I never get tired of showing off our granddaughter. I wish Annalee would go to church with us or go to church anywhere at all but I guess you can't have everything.

    All for the moment.

A lot has transpired. This last Friday marked 22 years since my mom died at the age of 75. I commiserated with my sisters over it. Donna and her husband moved into their new home in Lavon, TX (my middle name is "Lavon" by the way. I got my dialysis appointment moved up to 5 in the morning Friday so Amy and I could leave early and get to Branson long before it turned dark. Mission accomplished but I felt simply awful the rest of the day. The next two nights I got good nights sleep and felt so much better today and Saturday. We left Murphy at Annalee's. She seems to have behaved herself.

    All for the moment.
