The mother making a phone call to 911 and then seeing her holding a knife while still talking to the dispatcher while the so is moving aggressively towards the officer is reasonable cause to put him in handcuffs until the officer figured out what was going on. Not one thing is going on in California, that is not going on in every state of the union. The fact is that this case was prosecuted in California. What we learn from this is that at least one juror of of the lot, was not convinced that the burden of proof was met to convict a defendant in a criminal trial. It happens in every single state of the union. Vire dire is not just science, its also about the luck of who ends being called and sitting there. Its about how honest and forthright each and every juror is in response to questions. Its about the quality of the lawyers, and their gut intuition. And its about the interdynamics in that jury room. Who convinces who, and who butts heads.

We have not been at this trial, we do not know what the discussions were inside that room, and which facts deemed important, and which insignificant. We do not know which witnesses were believed and which were not, and we don't know exactly what these jurors were thinking they saw while they watched that tape.

Trees grow in California. Trees grow in every state in the union. Finding one that is diseased probably tells us nothing about the state that it is sitting in.

This is one of the real reasons the deep state wants so many illegals, they can pay for SS/Medicare but never collect. In any event, I sure as hell did not plan my retirement with any SS/Medicare in it. Why the **** would any taxpaying citizen of our country defend a criminal’s “RIGHT TO BE A CRIMINAL, WITH OBVIOUS SIGNS THEY ARE A CRIMINAL” before they actually commit a criminal act??

What happened to see “something, say something?”

Now imagine this truth:
It’s your birthing person, or your genetically changed whatever, about to be attacked by someone similar to this exact situation, what do they do to avoid a SERIOUS attack in this situation?

Be serious in your response, don’t make me post the MANY, MANY examples of ordinary INNOCENT citizens I have stored.

 

A legally complicated case.

The suspect "Ari Young" has mental health issues.
Officer McCarthy hid behind a bush after Ari stole her gun and fired.
But Ari obviously shot in the opposite direction.

In addition, officer McCarthy acted unlawfully because she tried to detain an innocent person during investigation.

"It looks really bad at first glance," said Young's defense attorney.

The lefts defense of criminals isn’t anything new. Par for the course.

 

If they want to defend criminals and their politicians who are working hard to defund the police, so be it.

They can’t have it both ways though: when one of their loved ones are attacked by those same criminals, and the defunded police are left with no funds to bring those particular criminals to justice, they can thank the corrupt politicians that they voted for, (and let’s not forget: those same politicians have around the clock ARMED security) for the situation they NEVER THOUGHT could happen to them.

Ironic right, because they are voting for this exact situation to happen, just not to them.

 

It seems like they were applying the popular concept that an American has an almost unconditional right to self-defence on their own property. Maybe some people will finally realise that isn't as good an idea in practice as it might sound.

On the face of it, this verdict was flawed, though if it was as obviously and unquestionably flawed as is being suggested here, why wouldn't the prosecution be able to convince the jury of that? I suspect, as is usually the case with this kind of report, it isn't quite as straight forward as the media want to make you think (because they can't get you angry with nuance and angry reactions give them the most engagement, which makes them more money).

Either way, he is still been found guilty of crimes and, given the suggestion that this came about due to serious mental health issues, that should provide scope for his to receive the kind of treatment he needs in a secure environment. Unfortunately, I very much doubt that will happen, and what he was actually convicted of wouldn't make any difference to that.
