Looks like a bit of it collapsed. Hard to say what the cause was.

At any rate, it would have taken a lot of explosives to cause the dam failure. A stray shell or two would not have done it. Nothing Ukraine could fire at it remotely would have done it. There is no sign of such weapons having been fired at the dam and having hit it, either.

Could be back in use....unless the waters been spiked with unknown chemicals that could render the soil unusable...just like Chornobyl area...

You could have said that about the Polish missile as well, indeed most commentators did. Let the facts establish themselves.

Yes, Right, just because Ukraine denied their water infrastructure to Russian occupied territory, they now are ready to destruct their own HES and flood their own people. As I said, logic is not the strong side of Russian fascists.

Baltic states are much more famous for fascists where, in Russian propaganda? But Russian propaganda label as fascists just everyone, who they don't like, so it's not a big deal.

But who are yourselves, who installed dictatorship in Russia with cult of personality, who are attacking neighborhood country with aim to destroy whole nation, who deny even existence of whole Ukrainian nation, whose TV call for genocide in prime time, who deports children in mass to Russia, who are killing innocent people in places like Bucha and Irpen? You are the fascists and moral cripples, that's the fact.

Just there are satellite images, which show deformation of dam at the end of May and also shows, that water level was not regulated by Russians at all, they just dint give a **** about this threat.

So the choice is between monstrous incompetence and monstrous evil. Sounds like a microcosm of Russian history.

If that is the case still the Russians are at fault for not giving a s#&&#t. Or did the Russians realize that the dam was weak so time to set off the explosive charges that they had set.

Either the Russians are stupid (they are not) or the time of the breach was random. It is not easy to repair a dam during a war. The dam bursting will help the Ukrainians recapture that land south of the river upto the Crimean penninsular as mines and buildings will be cleared by the water. The Ukrainian army has already crossed the river due to the Russians having to retreat after the dam burst

Yes, and folded land turned to swamp, just right place for large operation.

Right before the counteroffensive is hardly a random time. But yes, the Russians are stupid.

If that dam didn't burst the Ukrainians would not have got across that river so easily. That river was a great defensive barrier for the Russians. Now they have no natural defenses until the Crimian Penisular

Nonsense. The ground up and down stream is now muddy, and the Ukrainians would not inflict such harm on their own people and infrastructure just to facilitate a potential river crossing months down the road.

I don't know why people allow themselves to be swayed by Russian lies. It's so sad. They did it for several reasons, one being to stymie Ukraine's advance in the near term. It forces Ukraine to attack where they have a ton of defensive lines prepared.

The latest "firehose" of disinformation...I'm hearing....from the Kremlin $hitshow is....that Belgorod area residents are claiming to be hearing languages other than Ukrainian or Russian amongst the RVC "liberators"??

    Wow....maybe they're all "bilingual"??....LOL.

Ukraine cut the water supply in the first instance to the inhabitants of the pennisula who were supposed to be the residents of Ukraine. Of course there is logic- Ukraine behave in this instance as they did before. The fact that Crimea was annexed by Russia does not make the inhabitants non-Ukranian. Same thing was in Donbass - people who lived there stopped to get pensions from Ukraine.

Do you deny that Ukrainians crossed over the river in one day without any significant casualties? If not, do you think that they would have crossed over by now if the dam hadn't burst?

BTW I did not say that the Ukrainians did it. I have implied that the dam was not maintained

I know only чувак и блядь, the rest sounds like some African language.
You know that recently they have already liberated the penthouse of Zelensky in Crimea? He is not any more an owner of the property there. So you say, that someone else from Ukraine will be liberated from his property in Crimea? Who is that?

If you think you write in Russian language with latinic letters, you are mistaken. There is no such word as pleh-nooh. Other words are also weird. Where did you pick up this crap? :D I do not want to read Kyiv post.. Soloviev and Kisilev are enough for me. By the way, do you know that next president of Ukraine will be Kadyrov?
