German tank ‘with Nazi emblem’ filmed fighting in Ukraine

Footage allegedly shows a Leopard armored vehicle painted with the ‘Balkenkreuz’ symbol used by Hitler's Wehrmacht

A video has emerged online purportedly showing a German-made Leopard tank with a Nazi emblem being used by Ukrainian forces in the conflict against Russia.

The short clip was published on Monday by several pro-Ukrainian accounts. According to the description, it shows the German-produced tank engaged in combat somewhere in Zaporozhye Region, a contested former part of Ukraine.

Nokrainium will lick its wounds and most likely Zelinsky will immediately retire to some beach-front mansion in Florida with disillusioned Nokrainiums nipping at his heels and demanding his blood.

It remains to be seen if Putin will keep his word about leaving Nokrainium in peace thereafter and whether the Luhansk and Donetsk Peoples Republics will experience a smooth transition to whatever decision they make for their future. The US will quickly recover by finding someone else's leg to hump, depending upon how much surplus war-making scrap iron they've got. Thats the balkenkreuz or 'bar cross.' It's been a symbol of the German Army 'Wermacht' since WW1. It predates nazism, and was never officially considered a nazi symbol, and thus never subjected to the erasure and censorship that actual nazi symbols were subjected to.

Contextually, many soldiers of the Wermacht hated the nazis. They served honorably out of loyalty to Germany and Germans. It'd be like a soldier in the US Army who voted R but all the elected officials everywhere were D's. He's still serving his country, not necessarily the Party.

The bar cross isnt a nazi symbol. But also it isn't a Ukrainian symbol either. I would've thought German tanks would've had removed their markings before being transferred to another country. Maybe the Ukrainians put it back on?
