This is turning out to be like the end of WWI for Russia. Not as often told is that while the Central Powers were victorious in WWI, Russia itself was defeated by the Germans, this is in large part what led to the Bolshevik revolution and the Red Army. Here in this case, hopefully a Democratic revolution and an overthrow of the Putin Regime.

Absolutely no conspiracy is off the cards here. Russia is one country where the reality could be... anything.

Reports now coming out that Prigozhin and Putin have struck a deal, and the Wagners have stopped their advance on Moscow and are going to return to Ukraine.

Kremlin says charges against Russian mercenary leader will be dropped

The criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin, the Russian mercenary leader, will be dropped, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

In comments reported by Russian state media, Peskov said Prigozhin would go to Belarus and that his fighters would not be prosecuted.

Not sure that is a deal one can trust.

this whole situation is weird. What we know does not make sense. There is a lot more going on than we know. Maybe3 this was just a giant masquerade to confuse everyone We can only speculate. Regardless, this is chaos .And that makes Putin and Pig vulnerable.

Wonder what kind of leverage Putin used to get Pig to pull back

Either way. Pig should avoid being close to windows in high elevation buildings.
This will also inflame Putins paranoia.

At the absolute least we have a loss to Russia of 25,000 troops, the most rare kind, competent.

Putin had asked Lukashenko to mediate in the hope of avoiding any further bloodshed because Lukashenko has known Prigozhin for 20 years. Convict fighters would not be prosecuted because of what they did for the country on the frontlines. Putin thanked Lukashenko for averting an internal crisis.

The Wagner troops won’t be mad at Prigozhin. Remember, they’re mercenaries. And if the deal is for them to go to Belarus, it means they’re out of the Ukrainian meat grinder, at least for now.

But I’ll bet some heads will roll in Moscow.

What do you want to hear?
A certain citizen expresses his opinion - so what? Does he give evidence? Does he have documents or other materials to support his words?
He has expressed his opinion. In Russia you can do this freely. I understand that it seems unbelievable for Westerners to be able to speak their minds openly. However, they see the total censorship in the west, where even the former president of the USA is tried to shut up and obviously far-fetched criminal cases are brought.

Golden reply.....the excessive freedom in Russia made soldiers revolt, in middle of battle against their own leaders, you are correct we find it unbelievable.

Yes, you see how beautiful life in Russia is? Even by Russia laws criminal private army, who in large portion consists of murders, rapers and other bandits, can rampage around and take over big cities. This is the kind is stability and freedom, that every citizen of Westen countries ever wanted. :D

The repercussions for Putin aren’t over. I bet he’s feeling the winds of change.
Could he be feeling a bit uneasy about Lukashenko? Still trustworthy?

You're half right for certain. It's not likely to be over just yet. What happened was kind of a big deal and the guy responsible for it got a very sweet deal.
