Because of Florida abortion laws, she carried her baby to term knowing he would die

According the leader of Planned Parenthood, their founder was a white supremacist and eugenics advocate.

For the record I am ambivalent about abortion. I could not care less about the issue. I have no skin in the game.

Republicans and Christofascists talk as if abortion is something only Democrats seek and undergo.

Black women have higher rates of abortion because black women have higher rates of poverty.

The REAL racist attitude is the idea of forcing black women to have babies they can't afford thus perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

For someone who is "ambivalent about abortion" you sure trot out the far right talking points.

Talk about lack of logic here.. did you forget that female babies also get aborted? So using your own logic here we have..

if the female baby is aborted then all those other children she may have had will also never be born...

    See how that works?

I'll make a note that. In April of 2022 Florida signed a 15 week abortion law. That's 3 and a half months for a woman to make a decision to abort or not to abort.

Just like abortion shouldn't be unlimited up to 42 weeks, there should be exceptions to anti-abortion laws. This is one of them.

But, for decades, the anti-lifers would never budge on their demand that abortion be totally unlimited and available for partial birth. So, don't be mad when the anti-abortion folks don't budge, either.

Shouldn't you be talking about Australia where in many areas' abortions are REALLY BANNED, unlike Florida, where all she had to do is get two doctors to sign off on the diagnosis since she waited past the unlimited abortion week requirement.

Sounds like this is a moot issue. I'm fairly certain this woman could have gotten two doctors to sign off if the details surrounding this are true and if the woman truly wanted to abort. So what's the argument? That she really ought to have had an abortion?

If they really made her carry it to term when it was 100% confirmed it has no chance then that is messed up! I'm seeing lots of contradicting info in here though. Did it happen or did it not happen? Do we have all the details? Did Drs really say "Its gonna die, but you have to have it anyway, sorry, what can i say, florida law "??
