I just find it quite strange. Trump is the most to the most center republican candidate IMO (always was) and they HATE his guts Kennedy is the center leftist candidate, and they hate him. Is it because they believe in MONARCHY over COMPROMISE? I really find it amazing and mind boggling. I always thought, if Trump didn't say so many stupid things ( example "i'd like to knock them out", "what a nasty woman", and so on) that the left would hate him less, but here comes RFK who is still definitely to the left and doesn't say such things, and they STILL hate him I'm convinced these people want a MONARCHY PROVE ME WRONG! Also, where the hell is my girl Tulsi this election? How I'd love to have a female veteran non-hyper partisan president!
I believe you. some person posted some political compass thing the other day. I took the test. It put me at slightly left of center. Which I think is weird! but I'm starting to understand it better now. its making more sense. Perception is a key factor on what OTHERS define as "right" or "left"
I don't want to complete your sentence, but if you mean why should we bother with compromise, its because opposing views usually have pros and cons and that's a good jumping point to find things with the most pros and the least cons (and obviously nothing is perfect)
Leftists hate anyone who are even slightly less leftist than they are. Pay more attention this is no great secret out there.
