You've been arguing against my claim that govt isn't taking away anyone's dishwasher well before what you posted 2 posts ago.
So again, you believe no one is coming to take away your dishwasher, right?

To be fair Leftwing media has done it's fair share of putting fear into people where none is needed.

I just can't imagine being so irrational as a grown adult. Especially over something that isn't happening.

again I was very specific. The fact that you’re still confused says a lot.

    Physically? Current dishwasher? No.

    Legislatively? Future dishwashers? Quite possibly.

    Very clear stuff.

Now your turn: you do know that there are more than physical means at making sure that when your current washer breaks that you won’t be able to get a new one? You do know that right?

Wait...if my dishwasher died I won't be able to get a new one? Do dishwashers no longer exist?

That may be true. I don't follow any major news media
    At most, NPR.
But I always require multiple sources to believe something.

I don't see many LW media threads putting fear into folks. But I may not notice them.

24/7 reality tv, mocking news stories is all about catering to an audience with sensationalism.
They need viewers/readers, the more they get the more money they can sell for advertising. Which generates their revenue stream.

Why would they exist if they legislate that they can’t?

Have dishwashers been legislated out of existence? Are you saying there are no dishwashers on the market anymore?

You have been very clear. You’re saying that it is possible for regulation to make dishwashers either prohibitively expensive or simply ban them outright. I understand your point, and I’m sure many others following along do as well.

You just said nothing. Reread. I was very clear what I think.

who is not clear is the guy BSing all over this forum, refusing to answer questions, posting up strawmen, lying about other posters and being completely incapable of even quoting what you’re accusing them of saying.

So you think it’s impossible to legislate something out of existence? Are dishwashers part of the Constitution? Are they an inalienable right?

Ohhh right, maybe you just think you know what government will do in the future! Maybe you have a magic orb that tells you future events! Is that it? Crystal ball?

But you do see US constitution has the power to tell my wife what she can have or not have in her uterus.

Well, SCOTUS says US constitution has the power to tell my wife what she can have or not have in her uterus.

I hope you appreciate the irony of your post above as much as I do. I got a good laugh out of it at least.
I never claimed it was impossible. I don't think it's likely since using a dishwasher has been shown to save water over manually washing dishes. But feel free to worry yourself to death on "what if" scenarios all you like. You might be better off building a cabin in a remote part of Alaska so you don't have to worry about all these things that aren't happening.

You’ll learn that I don’t agree with a whole lot of things that SCOTUS says.

When it comes to regulations, it's stupidly simple: Regulations should exist to limit the amount of harm or potential harm, what a regulation should not do is hinder or encumber safe civilian use. It's really not that hard to understand.

Conservatives beat Liberals on the regulation issues. Because conservatives understand the true purpose behind their use.

I’ve heard it argued that a lot of what regulation intends to accomplish could be done simply by using tort law.

Congratulations you’ve finally stopped mischaracterizing what I’ve been saying long enough to acknowledge my point and disagree with it from there.

So you think it’s possible just not likely based on nothing whatsoever and are trying to disguise that complete lack of foundation by characterizing me as a paranoid crazy person for so much as doubting the competency or intentions of legislators.

    got it.

I haven't mischaracterized anything. Not my fault you struggle with communication.

So you think it's possible based on nothing whatsoever. Got it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I believe he is making the point that it’s possible. If you’d like to argue that it’s impossible, feel free to explain why

Based on nothing? Guess you’ve no clue what’s been going on in California for the exact same reasons. That’s too bad.

You yourself said the current proposal is stupid. Funny, you’ve never explained why. But hilarious that you would acknowledge legislators as being stupid but apparently think they are smart enough not to truly F things up.

Was your stance that there a zero probability that washing machines could be so regulated so as to be prohibitively expensive or banned altogether?
