Sure, the same guy who is tying to jail his strongest general election opponent, just so happens to leave his strongest primary opponent, vulnerable to assassination.

For Biden, RFK is a problem. 'The level of avarice the Deep State actors retain in their black little scales for RFK Jr., the thorn in their side, is off the charts; I don't believe we've ever seen anything like it, even with the relentless attacks and smears of Trump.'

The poll workers that Trump falsely accused by name of fraud are at a much greater risk than RFK Jr is.

In fact, RFK Jr running would be more a threat to Trump than to Biden. But MAGA extremists are not intelligent enough to know this. So MAGA stupidity helps make RFK safer.

His request was denied despite wide latitude allowed for being able to do so.

Bottom line.

so if you are going to agree with the denial then at least give your reasons why RFK has nothing to fear and you know better than he does that he’s safe. Your current reason amounts to nothing more than tradition.

In the latest NYT/Siena poll for the Dem Nomination (Biden Holds a 51 Pt Lead over RFK Jr.(64-13) and a 54 Pt Lead over Williamson (64-10)).
Thus, 2 MAJOR Challengers to Biden have reached Double Figures!
Biden 64%
RFK Jr. 13%
Williamson 10%
(And, given the methidology of the poll, the admitted MOE is +/- 3.67%)
The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3.67 percentage points for all registered voters
Thus: Williamson is in a Statistical TIE with RFK Jr.
(And, based on the 3.67 MOE could actually be leading RFK Jr. for 2nd Place).

Makes sense. No other candidate is entitled to such protection. At least government has engaged in equality on this issue.

Good thing RFK isn’t acting entitled. He merely submitted a request. Others are free to do so and provide their reasons why they think they are in danger. Nothing to do with entitlement and everything to do with each candidates perception of their personal safety.

 

i have sort of dismissed RFK jr, being he is an environmental lawyer, cant imagine why the magas like him except for his anti-vacine stance, what a bunch of all-around malarky

Yes it is, it’s a benefit typically provided to major candidates 120 days before an election.

RFK merely would like it provided early which begs really a bunch of questions to me:

1) is RFKs reasons reasonable?
2) if other candidates submit requests is there even enough resources to provide them protection to potentially so many for so long?
3) Why can’t these candidates provide their own security?

Questions 2 and 3 are far more compelling reasons to me to potentially dislike RFKs request. But the “it’s early” reason im hearing in this thread is not.
