I don't care for politicians lying all the time either, I guess impeachment is a process, but we would impeaching just about everybody. Is this incident worthy of impeachment, could be, but that requires a special vote, and those are hard to implement. House of Reps are only 2 years, it would be best to just vote her out. That said, I think all politicians are self serving, irrelevant of party, and they should be held more accountable to their actions.

Agreed. But issues like woman’s rights are why people vote the way they do. This isnt a “hot button” issue, this is a core, single issue position that voters will vote for or against, based on that position alone. Most people, me included, can stomach many different issues that someone represents, but when it comes to womens rights to their own bodies, thats where people will accept many other disagreeable positions, to get that.

Who ran Texas in 1968 and 1972? It was Democrats. There couldn’t be this sudden party switch when the states continued for decades to vote for the same party to run their daily lives. What you got is a presidential vote. That’s it. No party switch, a presidential vote. Democrats continued to run the south for decades.
