So... it seems there was a plan afoot, not just some ridiculous 180 on a major policy in less than 100 days...

And nobody claims virture for the D party, but they are generally person-for-person less slimy than your R party.

And they're not my party... never have been...

Agreed, which is why I say they should be impeached …..

But Impeachment will rely on the NC House and Senate, which are both GOP dominated (in a 51/49 state)....

Rest assured that if she had switched TO Democrat, it would already be a done deal....

Her punishment will come if she runs again in this district in 2024...

psst, have you even bothered to note how i call both sides as being corrupt? less slimy? seriously? I won't even bother to cite examples of pay for play, no show jobs etc because it's just the GOP who partake in that; right?

I don't care for politicians lying all the time either, I guess impeachment is a process, but we would impeaching just about everybody. Is this incident worthy of impeachment, could be, but that requires a special vote, and those are hard to implement. House of Reps are only 2 years, it would be best to just vote her out.

That said, I think all politicians are self serving, irrelevant of party, and they should be held more accountable to their actions.

If I were to count how many threads and posts you made, I am sure it would be overwhelming in Republican favor. !!!!

Your claim of objectivity is a joke.

Agreed. But issues like woman’s rights are why people vote the way they do. This isnt a “hot button” issue, this is a core, single issue position that voters will vote for or against, based on that position alone. Most people, me included, can stomach many different issues that someone represents, but when it comes to womens rights to their own bodies, thats where people will accept many other disagreeable positions, to get that.

So true. The left wing support for murder, riots, etc is astounding. They lost the moral high ground long ago.

actually, it's anti-Democrat as they are more anti-Constitution than most GOP. both sides give OUR money away that is unconstitutional. One side wants to silence and control in addition to being liars and becoming wealthy via taxpayers.. The GOP just lies and wants to be paid off. You tell me which is worse

it's OK to try and defend your Democrat vote. I would expect no less given the spin you get from your media sources so it's not all your fault

    huh? Democrat moral high ground???

let's recap their good work and moral high ground

    slavery
    internment camps
    anti-woman's suffrage
capital punishment of babies without due process
    anti- civil rights
    defund the police
    leper colonies
    racism

When I was younger, I actually voted Democrat. As I learned more about the above, I could neither support nor defend those positions or a political party that has a history of it.

It astounds me that anyone actually does.

Democrat moral high ground; the phrase in itself makes one spit out their coffee.

that is a tired, Democrat talking point or as my pappy used to say, "that dog won't hunt"

But, if that is what you need to believe so you can continue to vote Democrat, then so be it. I just hope you don't perpetuate that lie to others.

It's in the history books, but that switch isn't remotely the reason I continue to vote D.... Current R's are...

There's a reason their color is red. They're practically the Stalinist Party now, given how they operate, relying on lies and deceit, manipulating gullible people into believing and doing what they want out of fear and hatred of others, even getting them to go along with expanding government overreach into their personal affairs in the process.

What should be in the history books is how democrats ran the south into the 80’s 90’s and in Georgias case, the 2000’s. There was no “switch” on 9/16/64. The south stayed Democrat for decades after September 1964.

What is worse, is the one sided posts. I have no heartburn with policy complaints, or spending complaints, because everyone has their idea of how, but the nonsense of conspiracies is ubiquitous in yours.

IIRC, she missed a vote to infringe on peoples 2A rights because she had 'long covid' and received so much hate on social media from her gun-grabbing constituency that she lost respect for them.

conspiracy? Would that be like "Trump is a Russian operative" and "peed on a bed" ?

    Is that an example?

Or, do you mean that the Biden family/friends enriched themselves due to Joe's political connections? The former is a conspiracy, the latter is status quo throughout DC regardless of which side of the aisle they sit. DC is corrupt to the core and both parties love that the electorate argue with each other instead of rallying together to eradicate the corruption problem within DC

1968 - 5 dixie states went for that whackjob Wallace, but only Texas was blue south of mason dixon
1972 - Nixon won 49 states... need I say more?

Who ran Texas in 1968 and 1972? It was Democrats. There couldn’t be this sudden party switch when the states continued for decades to vote for the same party to run their daily lives.

What you got is a presidential vote. That’s it. No party switch, a presidential vote. Democrats continued to run the south for decades.
