if she were so as a matter of fact sure about her stance why wouldn’t she debate? She can’t even speak to kindergartners so she is likely too scared to debate. Personally I see why she’s using this as political gain but is scared to actually back it up. Her voting class actually thinks she’s a good VP. The intelligence isn’t exactly a high standard she’s trying to appeal to.

Her nonsense was only said to get the uneducated faction of her base riled up over a race issue. I'm sure she knows by now that she was wrong. It's comical that her uneducated supporters still don't.

Well, Harris passed up another opportunity to call someone a racist on the debate stage, and that's probably a good thing because DeSantis would have eaten her alive.

Shouldn't De Santis be more concerned about debating Trump?

Why is De Santis afraid of Trump?

WHY would anybody expect a sitting VP dignify such a roduculous in invitation?
Given by a raging idiot like DeSantis?
    Give me a break...:bored:
Yo Man! I am inviting Donald Trump to debate me in my front room live streamed on Facebook...
IF he turns me down, then he must be terrified to debate ne!

If he wants to debate the VP he better start sucking up to a primary candidate who has some charisma, maybe he can be their running mate.

A presidential nominee asking a VP for a debate when the VP clearly attacked him is not the same as you asking trump for a debate. But thanks for your inability to understand that

    Exactly...
Ron can lick Trump's Boots and bend over like a Prizzin Beech and maybe Trump will make him VP...
Then, he can get his dream of being on stage with Wonder Woman...
    Sounds like a plan...

Technically you are correct. Realistically, she did.
    This is what she said.
"I do not believe you are a racist and I agree with you when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground.
But, I also believe—and it's personal. And I—I was actually very—it was hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on segregation of race in this country. You also worked with them to oppose busing. And you know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bused to school every day, and that little girl was me. So, I will tell you that on this subject, it cannot be an intellectual debate among Democrats. We have to take it seriously. We have to act swiftly,"

In essense, she said "you are not a racist but you sure do act and talk like one and you hang around and support them."

Unnecessary Outrage Stirred By Race Baiting Bribed Biden Administration Over Florida's African American History Curriculum
    [IMG]
'Clearly, the point of Florida’s guidance isn't to glorify the practice of slavery, it’s to pay homage to the human spirit that can find a way to survive even in the worst of conditions...'

'It’s clear that Florida middle schoolers will be taught that slavery was and is cruel and morally reprehensible. In that context, they will also learn that some slaves learned new skills like farming, smithing, carpentry, etc. during their servitude.'

Which is true, a testament to the folks bettering themselves amidst the most horrific of circumstances.

“Did you ever read 'Man's Search for Meaning?' Vic Frankl talks about how you have to survive in a concentration camp by having skills. You had to be useful. Utility. Utility kept you alive.

'Heroes are forged in the fires of adversity. Just as no Israelite wanted to be under Pharoah’s thumb, no African-American wished to feel the boot-heal of the slave master on his or her neck. When freedom finally came, each would find they not only survived, but—for some—they even grew.'

Harris NEVER called Biden a "Racist". Period!

rhonda santos should debate the other GOP candidates

nikki haley and Tim Scott and Will Hurd have all spoken out against desantos and his racism

but instead of inviting any of the above, he invites harris

    why??

because he knew she would never agree to debate him

rhonda santos shows his true colors once again

start a fight with someone that wont fight back ..then claim victory despite there was no fight

It was an apt comparison. The VP (or Trump in Joe’s example) swatting away an annoying fly would be another. Your inability to grasp the dynamic in play is well, odd.

Not as odd as the DeSantis campaign again drawing more attention to their missteps.

She would probably say some cocaine fueled insanity and then cackle like a mad person afterward and everybody in the room except for her will be stretching their head.

    DeSantis is the lucky one.

Yeah, that was a strange moment. “I don’t think you’re a racist, but let me tell you about that time you did something very racist and it hurt me personally. I want you to apologize to me for it.” Then Biden was like, “My handlers are telling me I need a black woman to be my VP and I don’t know any black women other than that mean lady who called me out for being a racial segregationist in front of the whole country.”

DeSantis really must be desperate to score some points with the MAGA crowd. No reason any Democrat should help him do it.
