Trumps mug gives me vibes of that one teacher you had in school when you got caught skipping class or going into the teacher’s lounge but you’re trying to play it off that you didn’t.

Serious question doofenshmirtz: Do you honestly think that this man is innocent of any of this ? They have the receipts and it was a grand jury (jury of ordinary citizens), that indicted him….it this the hill the MAGA want to die on, Donald Trump ?

I finally saw the "mugshot" and he looks defiant IMO. But two ironies here: One, Trump used that picture on his Twitter page, used the picture to ask for donations to his legal and political causes, and said "Never Surrender!" in said post. The second irony is what he said, "Never Surrender!" which he technically did, voluntarily I might add, and probably the most rightful decision that he made in his entire life.

I think both sides will use this picture for obvious reasons, but when we are long gone and history remembers Trump, it will be this picture, not his policies, not his buinesses, not his multiple marriages and multiple affairs, but this picture alone and whatever outcome in his legal trials.

He also “reasoned” that since not every single immigrant is punished, that Trump being prosecuted for stealing, hiding and obstructing access to top secret government documents and for subverting the peaceful transfer of power and the Constitution is “selective prosecution”. I don’t think he understands how ludicrous that position is.

No one does name calling more than Trump. The man's a pig, imo.

I'm not feigning a damned thing, Doof. This is about making sure that the guilty are punished, that a recurrence is deterred, and that felons don't get elected to leadership positions.

I know that resorting to ad hom fallacies reveals ones inability to defend a position on merit. This is not about me.

In addition to unwillingness to enforce immigration laws, thieves get a pass as well.

As an independent that voted against Trump and don't care for either party, I see this as a politically motivated move that will lead to more of the same. I don't see it as something good for the country. I understand that you believe refusing to chant with the lemmings is ludicrous. Fair enough.

So we can’t charge him until we charge every other criminal? Silly.

Unless, of course, one is guilty of breaking immigration laws or committing theft.

Of course you can charge him and lock em up. Just don't claim to have a genuine concern for the rule of law.

I can’t do anything, he’ll be judged by a jury of his peers like anyone else. Should we empty the prisons until we can charge every law breaker? That's silly.

We incarcerate more than any other country. Where there is no victim, there should be no crime. I am not a fan of our justice system that consumes so many of our young people and keeps them in the prison for profit meat grinder. Average citizens have no chance against the mighty system.

Thefts under $950. are not prosecuted.

That old chestnut is what someone without ideas resorts to when called out. There’s no merit to comparing things which aren’t comparable.

That depends on where. And we’re all victims of Trump’s crimes. Where do you get this ****?
