A TRUE and RECENT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
My brother, who lives in the US, came to visit 3 months ago with his wife and their 12-year-old daughter. It's the first time I'd ever met the child and she was really excited about meeting her uncle from abroad. Well, she thought I was fantastic (and that was nice) but she was forever fawning me - holding my hand and sitting on the floor near me so she could hang on to my leg with her cheek against my thigh. Honestly? It freaked me out! But I had to act like it was "sweet" and I knew they were all expecting compliments so I did my best. There was nothing wrong with what she/they were doing but we don't do things like that over here and if we did we'd end up in jail.

Obama didn't do anything significant in office, so I wouldn't put him as legendary. He is only legendary due to being the first minority president, so I give him that. He was decent as President, but nothing substantial came out of it outside of increasing middle class health care expenses exponentially.
