Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm set out an electric car vacation. Part of her way through, her staff ran into a broken charging station. To make sure that she would not be invenienced, the blocked a working charging station with a gas powered vehicle. A family with a baby was blocked out of the bey. They called the cops.

The Biden cabinet is "the gang that couldn't shoot straight." It's just one fumble after another.

This link is to an EV friendly site, just to keep it fair.

Energy Secretary, Grandholm, Under Investigation for Disastrous Electric Vehicle Road Trip Disaster.

LAWMAKERS: They don't appropriate money for Administration Activities so that WH can make partisan asses out of themselves, they are supposed to be working for the good of the American People.

'Using an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle, your Department of Energy (DOE) staff blocked off an EV-only charging station so you could stay on a schedule which was "painstakingly mapped out ahead of time" because of limited, slow, and nonworking EV chargers along your route. In "sweltering" Georgia heat, your staff's action caused a family with an infant child and low charge on their EV battery to call the police out of urgency while waiting at this charging station. You ultimately blamed your staff for "poor judgment" while testifying about preventing other EV vehicles from charging. This taxpayer-funded publicity stunt illustrates yet again how out of touch the Biden Administration is with the consequences of the policies it has unleashed on everyday Americans.'

    This idiot blamed her staff.

'Noting the House GOP's commitment to "preserving freedoms like vehicle consumer choice in the face of an unproven, burdensome, and expensive Biden Administration push to force all Americans to buy EVs," the letter requests "documents and information to understand the purposes, costs, and consequences of your summer 2023 EV road trip."'

'"[A]t every point on this journey, you relied upon [internal combustion] vehicles using gasoline to try to boost the charade of the effectiveness of green energy," the letter highlights, because the "fleet of EVs could not complete the trip without the support of the fossil fuel industry which you and the Biden Administration have been trying to vilify and destroy."'

Part of the reason this trip was a disaster was the refusal to have anything to do with Tesla, when they make the most reliable cars and have the most reliable chargers. Were their political motivations to excluding Tesla? Lawmakers want to know that as well.

Ironically, she probably set back EVs a bunch. Most of us can't travel with a virtual safari of assistants (some in gas powered vehicles" to scout out and block charging stations to make things go smoothly. Not to mention her use of "charging corridors".

Is this is the same bxxxx that puts her towel on the chair at the hotel pool and now she thinks she owns the chair?

If I get my van to the gas pump and an EV is blocking the pump, I ain't calling the cops. I'm calling AAA to tow that MFer out of the way.
