I’m not going to jump to conclusions but it feels like you’re suggesting Latinos are predisposed to be rapists…

Still unsure about the numbers, but we can probably agree it's a problem and a higher than normal rate. It still doesn't support the idea that illegal immigrants are more likely to be violent or rapists. The smugglers aren't the illegal immigrants, the illegal immigrants are the victims. This issue is a consequence of demand for an illegal service which often feeds organized crime.

I think people often underestimate the level of impact context has on people's actions. Germans aren't evil, and yet they complied with Nazi's horrible demands, and in some cases regular people became part of nazi police death squads. Very vulnerable women, and men with nothing to lose and no expectation of punishment - that situation is going to lead to high levels of rape. It doesn't excuse it, but it's more driven by the terrible context than the "type" of people involved. We all like to think we'd do better, but regular people become monsters in the right circumstances.

That is far from reasonable. Illegal immigration is run by cartels, who also run the sex tourism business.

Is that the conclusion? Or is it that Bribed Biden should be doing some vetting of the folks that they are allowing to pour across our border and settle into the US?

    https://unherd.com/2023/10/the-democrats-have-walked-into-an-immigration-trap/

It's a trap they set for themselves.

'For the American Left, the four years of Donald Trump’s presidency offered ample opportunity to criticise his immigration policy. Those were the days of coast-to-coast airport shutdowns and street demonstrations, hipsters with “Abolish ICE” T-shirts, and a weekend in which the American Civil Liberties Union pulled in $24 million in donations just by promising to file court challenges to Trump’s executive orders. Activists and Democratic lawmakers alike travelled to the border to protest detention centres and the alleged fascism they embodied.'

Mouthy empty platitudes and virtue signalling

'Two years later, their zeal has backfired: faced with a record surge in migration on the southern border, the polarisation of immigration has placed President Joe Biden in a political and bureaucratic bind. Border Patrol agents estimate that in just one 24-hour period in September, 10,000 migrants arrived in Eagle Pass, a small town on the US-Mexico border that is home to 30,000 residents. Further north, the Mayor of El Paso, Texas, has warned that the border city, experiencing a flow of 1,200 migrants per day, is at “breaking point”.'

Bribed Biden has the entire nation at a breaking point.

'This unmanageable flow of migration, already overwhelming hospitals and shelter beds in New York and Chicago, is rapidly fuelling a backlash among local Republican and Democratic leaders alike. And the strain is spilling over into the presidential race. Recent polls show Biden is deeply unpopular, in part due to his response to migration. A recent Washington Post/ABC News poll found that 62% of Americans disapprove of his actions on the issue.'

Weird how in opposition to Biden, Americans keep agreeing 3/2.

So you must be overjoyed at all those coming to the ports of entry to request asylum. Since they aren’t doing anything illegal and cutting out the cartels.

So far nobody has shown that the guy arrested for sex crimes is here illegally.

You are incorrect. They must pay to pass through cartel territory. They are given instructions on what to say when they get here. Im surprised you did not know that illegal immigration is a billion dollar business. This helps them grow stronger so they can make life even more miserable for the poor people back home. Tolerating poor border policies is not from a position of concern for humanity.

I mention legal entry at a port and say I’m incorrect.
If it is about passing through cartel territory, then it has nothing to do with border policies. Don’t legal immigrants also pass through cartel territory??

Link: Death penalty for child rape goes into effect in Florida (news4jax.com)

A number of new laws are now in effect, as of Sunday. Arguably the most controversial centers around changes to Florida’s death penalty. Child rapists can now face execution for their crimes.

The law specifically pertains to child victims under the age of 12. Higher courts have already said imposing death sentences in these types of cases is a violation of the 8th Amendment...

Florida has tried this in the past and not seen it survive the inevitable legal challenges mounted by pedophile apologists. But the courts - especially SCOTUS - have become more conservative since the last attempt. Fingers crossed it crosses the finish line this time. It'll be a step in the right direction; I've long believed that forcible rape - regardless of the victim's age - should be a capital crime.

You must have a lot of faith in the criminal Justice system to want to expand who we execute. I assume when’s trumps convicted you’ll maintain that confidence
