The Bible is a credible source of history---with evidence of its events and people being uncovered through archeology. King David was said not to ever exist until his name was found on non-biblical sources from civilizations of the day. Jewish kings are recorded by civilizations--Egyptian, Babylon and more. To discount the Bible as "fairy tales" is foolish. Even if you don't believe in God ---its an excellent account of the Jewish people.

Israel has repeatedly ignored UN resolutions, Israel has built settlements in the occupied territories in violation of conventions.... That is, Israel has done everything to make the Palestinians hate Jews. In other words, today you are getting exactly what you wanted.
By the way, Israel still continues to condemn the Russian special military operation in Ukraine? Even after it was discovered that Ukrainians were supplying weapons to the Palestinians?

Chosen People means they are an integral part of God's overall plan for the world. It doesn't mean they are "better". It means they have a purpose. As even greater, civilizations fell to the wayside with their history, culture and religion lost to time (think Rome, Egypt, Assyria, Babalyon etc)--that even in diaspora the Jewish culture and identity remains intact. Its pretty supernatural really....a nomadic culture, not nearly as advanced as its neighboring civilizations, conquered, exiled and persecuted, and yet still around today.
