Your observation completely lacks any kind of a meaningful point. The Palestinians wanted full control of Gaza with Israel out of it and they got what they wanted. Then they had Hamas take over.

It was only fitting to give them a home with the Palestinian Jews of whom there are many and a "sanctuary" for their protection. It was Arafat that sowed the division making the world forget there are Palestinian Jews and he wanted them destroyed as well. I think it's more the fact that the West (the Brits and US) didn't want to take in more jewish refugees after WW2 than possible, so the Brits dumped them in Palestine, which was occupied by the Brits since WW1.

Apartheid is when a people with power give some limited rights to other people based upon race, religion or other identifying characteristics but withhold full power.
A well known example would be the old South Africa.
Black South Africans could vote for certain elections, were free to travel, make families, go to school. But they could not live outside their designated areas, ride only certain train cars, not be in certain neighborhoods without special passes, nor could they vote for the national government.
In Israel you have a case where Palestinians have no real power on a national basis, Israel takes land at will, dictates what rights Palestinians have. etc.

If the Palestinians get actual nationhood and not limited rights as they have now then, and only then, can Israel refer to Hamas as terrorists without other people referring to them as freedom fighters. Make Jerusalem a separate state like the Vatican and let the religions decide how best to divvy up the power.

 

Actually the Israeli regime in Area A of the West Bank is indeed Apartheid. Every day they continue to steal land from Arab farmers and other residents of Area A. It is shameful. Israel also barely every approves any Arab building permits but allows all Jewish ones.

 

Hamas has always seemed to be determined to make the Israelis destroy Gaza and maybe even all Palestinians. So far Israel has resisted any temptation to do that.
It may be time for Hamas leadership to try a new strategy.

 

Israel has tried to give palestinians their own state several times. The Palestinians rejected it. They want Israel as their state. Arab jews who decided to live in Israel have the right to vote their. Why would you want people in a terrorist are to be able to vote in a country they rejected?
