if you read the whole article the transgender runner actually responds to gains. He claimed that his physiology is the same as a woman’s. That’s not true. The only form of measurement of physiology is testosterone and estrogen levels (Fake levels by the way). But that doesn’t account for muscle mass, lung capacity, or bone density. There is far more to a woman than estrogen. The reason I say fake levels is because if a man shoots up testosterone does that make him natural? Does it make it fair? Not at all. It’s not the same and should never be handled the same in sports either.

Read the article, it’s a separate division in the same exact race. It’s simply a registration difference and that’s it. They are still awarded the placement prize just not the money.

 

Clue: If one reads an article on Fox news, one should check other sources before throwing their "belief" in it.
I would add, not a bad thing to do for ANY news source. While some are worse for slanting than others, many do slant and often some sources miss some details. I usually read at least 3 articles from different sources before putting much faith in one. Is it a lot of work? Yes, but worth the effort by hopefully not repeating or stating something inaccurate.

 

It is behind a pay wall, and non of your misinformation gave the slightest hint that the transgender was running in a separate division. And I called you out on this hate driven agenda.

Agree 100% about athletics. Women who train their entire lives in a sport should not have to compete with a male, even if the male identifies with another gender. I have no problem with anyone who identifies with a gender other than that they were born into, but when it comes to physical competition it's just not fair.
I have 3 daughters and 3 sons. They are not physically the same in sports. Take golf for example. The course, at a professional level, is shorter for women than it is for men, even for the US Opens. It would not be fair for a male to announce that he identifies as a woman and compete on that shorter course. I think trans sports athletes should compete with each other, not women or men.
Highlighted in red: I don't think they are "cheating", as their psychological view of themselves may very be as the opposite sex, or even neither, but I think the rules should be fair for everyone, not bent for one individual.

I realize these people don't view themselves as cheaters, but that doesn't change their biology.

 

In the new model, men who dont' make it as men can simply claim to be women and beat the tar out of women in sports. It doesn't matter to progs that women aren't able to compete, just that a man can say they are a woman and compete. Who said progressive folks weren't all about appropriation.... LOL

I'm pretty classically liberal, I don't support this BS. It does, seem to flow from the progressive wings of political thought, however, that men can claim they are women to get ahead these days...

To be fair, when I clicked on it it wanted me to put in an email to read it. I did not. I did read the link posted by @notme . I do read Fox news articles fairly often, and they tend to use misleading language in the titles and first paragraphs, sometimes the entire body. They are all about promoting an agenda. I read them to get a different perspective and read the comments that they allow on the individual articles, but with the understanding that it may be heavily slanted, which is why I posted what I did in post #4.

 

So the 2nd place finisher Amanda Aussems, was what gender? Could you please quote some ultra Christians about this Kae person? How many wanted him/her stoned?

 

Basically, a bloke ran the race as the women were competing, and Amanda Aussems won. So everyone just needs to ignore the bloke and look into sacking the organisers for allowing a bloke to run/gatecrash.

 

The trophy went to him not the woman. Even at that, what he said about physiology was wrong as well.

 

There is no cheating when the trans are competing among their own.

 

I for one hate women getting their asses kicked by men in sports. The real question is: why don’t you? Do you just hate women that much?

All I care about is that the trans competed in a non binary division. It got omitted by the person who made the OP, which is giving the impression it was not the case and subsequently it's puking up misinformation against the LGBTQ community and it fits an the ultra conservative Christian doctrine of shunning those people.

 

I already sourced that the trans competed in the Nonbinary Division.
So the question is now: why do you hate transgenders so much that you got a problem when they compete in their own division? Sounds like you should move to Iran where they got solutions for them that you probably support.

Now the entire thing is the topic itself. It suggests that a transgender beat a female in the same competition, when it's not the case since the transgender ran in their own competition. Hence the OP is transphobic post.
