I'm not sure what you are even talking about. We are currently RAISING interest rates to try to COOL the economy down, not lower rates to try to kick start it.

I wouldn't expect huge changes in interest rates in the near future. But there is this.

Funny thing is the market may be anticipating Biden's political demise and a return sound, basic, economical principles. Similiar to the strong upward growth when Trump one in 2016.

Yep, and did most of that growth while the President was kept in check by Republican congresses.

Lol, Trump didn't understand the concept of trade deficits and thought trade was a zero sum game. There were no "sound, basic, economical principles" with Trump. Hell, he wanted us to "renegotiate" our national debt (not a thing). Ever day that Trump talked about the economy was a day I knew he must have cheated to pass his intro to econ classes.

And yet his economy grew nicely and recovered from the COVID pandemic in a few months to continue a growth that extended almost a year into Biden's term - despite every bonehead move he and the democratic congress tried to enact.

Yes, it continued to grow under Trump . . . just as it had been growing before him. His policies were so powerful that they travelled BACK IN TIME!

It proves that, for years, while we had Democrat Administrations the country has done better.

It’s obvious that you are an open borders guy. “There is not such thing as an illegal!” Do have that sign on your front lawn? People in Massachusetts do. Everyone should be allowed to enter this country and do what they want with the help of government handouts because America is too rich and give the world population until America is poor and crime ridden. That’s what YOU want.

If you want the answer to your question, Google this:

    requirements for asylum

Then look under “basic requirements for asylum.”

I am though with you on this topic. All you do is deny and run in circles. I guess that got you A’s in college if you were supporting the progressive cause.

Oh totally! Because only rightists know the real truth. Especially random rightists on political forums.

Whether or not its because if Biden is irrelevant. Anyone with 401K is happy and whoever has CDs are happy. Unemployment is also very low, in wages grow faster than inflation and gas prices are tolerable. so the argument "the economy is a mess" doesn't make much sense at this point.

If it is not stupid hour your shouldn't write stupid number like “ everything you are buying is 20% more then pre-pandemic”.

If you write me to be honest, don’t you think you should write honestly?

Prices are up 20.2% from November 2019
That is, something that cost $100 in November 2019 cost $120.28 in November 2023.
    https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/inflation/current-inflation-rates/

    100 * 1.02 * 1.068 * 1.071 * 1.031 = 120.28

It's not obvious I am anything.

You made a claim that Biden is not enforcing the laws.

All I've asked you to do is to provide the statute that you think Biden is not enforcing.

Looking for "requirements for Asylum" is not going to provide the statute that you think Biden is not enforcing. Asylum is not the only method for entering the country. Nor would such a statute spell out who is NOT allowed in the country or the procedure of what to do when they are caught entering the country.

You made a claim. You cannot back up said claim. Just admit it and we can move on.

    To -you- it would.
But you, apparently, don't remember that happened in 2020.
    What? No comment?

Oh good - this means you understand the job numbers you presented have little to nothing to do with Trump or Biden.

Why are you showing data back to 2013? Trump took over Q2 2016; Biden in Q2 2021.

It is what it is. Trump promised a heck of lot more than he delivered even before Covid, and when Covid is included, his record is one of the worst of any president in US. Before Covid he was on par with Obamas numbers, except he added less jobs than Obama. Now the numbers are significantly better, and I don't say that to credit Biden, and simply state it as a matter of fact.

You make it way too much about presidents.

Actually if you've read many of my posts you'd realize I make it about the president's ACTIONS. BUT when I'm dealing with a poster that DOES make every thing a TRUMP V BIDEN I debate him on his ball park.

If that were so, I wouldn't still be having to use a credit card to buy effing groceries. I've struggled more financially this past year than at any time since the Reagonomics 80s.

Those of us on fixed incomes are not rising with this tide. Other than a few concessions such as a cap on insulin costs, we got a 9% or so raise in SS benefits to deal with a 30% overall rise in the prices of necessities. I don't even remember the last time I bought a new dress ... it's been years.

My cupboard is bare and my scant wardrobe is getting threadbare. My favorite slip-on shoes are developing a hole. Sorry, but until I can see it in my bank account, the economy is crap.
