I'm not so sure moderation among the politicians maybe not but there are voters and the crazier this Democratic party gets the fewer people are voting for them.

One of the things that I always admired about the Democrats that the Republicans could really take a lesson from is the solidarity they have within party. I think that's being pushed to the breaking point.

Between the walk away movement and the hysterics I think they're losing.

Keep in mind if this worthless lifelong politician gets re-elected he will not have to face the voters again, in other words: his handlers can do whatever the hell they want.

 

We will see. If the Democrat vote is split up, it will be among third party candidates. Trump is the great Democrat unifier. There are a few more independent Democratic voters who will support him, but the hard core people, who hate Israel and want socialism will not.

 

If you go to the grocery store with any regularity, you will hear from many shoppers. Prices are up and the quantities in the packages are down. What used to be a five pound bag of Domino sugar is now four. Gasoline prices might be down, but the damage has been done in other areas, and that can’t help Biden and the Democrats.

 

There are predictions of a triple headed pandemic, the flu, RSV and our old friend, Covid. I’m sure the Democrats would love to have another health emergency that would put them in charge. Old Joe could look like a savior.

 

It's not just 401k, it's the market as a whole and depends where the money is invested. Also, for those who have been earning in excess of 5% interest on cash for a year, that does not make up for the increase in prices. In a DC sound bite, they will not give you the whole picture because it's not good.

The same for folks who continued to buy into the stock market. Most had shares that were priced high and continued to dollar-cost-avg by buying more. Then, firms release 12-20% growth numbers for portfolios however that was on stocks bought/sold during the year. it does nothing for those who still hold stocks when bought at higher rates. You need to look long term and if you end up growing by over 10% for a long period then you do ok
