I quoted trump defending terrorists. Your only defense to that seems to be that Trump didn’t say the magical words “I support terrorism.” So it seems in your view it is okay to support known terrorists as long as you don’t outright say you support terrorism.

 

Wait, you claimed the J6 rioters were terrorist?
And because Trump made claims on how they were being treated wrong this means (to you) he supports terrorist?

When you have to make up claims to support claims, its only a reflection on you, not Trump. lol

 

It’s interesting that a US president can call for his supporters to assault others, call for them to fight against an election and repeat that half the country would be better off dead and all Republicans can muster is a collective shrug but a president making a speech in front of red and blue lights — that’s a call to war against them.

 

In my view, making claims one cannot back up comes at the expense of credibility. I am not a trump fan and would never vote for him.

 

Not all of them; those who've been charged and convicted, and those who attacked the capitol, smeared feces on the walls, attacked cops, were looking to attack representatives, etc., and haven't been caught yet. NOTHING has been "made up" except some Trumper apologies.

My claim is that nothing trump said can be considered encouraging terrorism. So far, no one can support that with a quote. Why is that?

 

Its not that there's nothing wrong, but what do you want to do about it? It used to be that constant threats got one either tossed in prison or put on meds. Then Trump got elected and pop stars started talking about blowing up the white house. Now people publicly tweet stuff like "I'm going to kill everyone who attends and then f**k their corpses" to Vivek's Presidential Campaign. I think its safe to say he wasn't serious, and indeed most threats never turn into action... but they should still be taken seriously, and the volume makes objective enforcement difficult.

 

To the contrary...pointing out the fact that the democrat party officials have a long history of feeding people pernicious lies to get them so angry that they threaten public officials with murder and other violence is 1-an absolute fact and 2-absolutely responds directly to the OP. That the hypocrites on the left cant see the telephone pole size mote in their own eye...well...I mean thats on them.
