What we have for 2024 is a rematch most Americans don’t want between two disliked and unwanted candidates to become the next president. 61% of all Americans don’t want Biden to run again, 56% don’t want Trump to run again either. Questions 14 and 15.

    https://d3nkl3psvxxpe9.cloudfront.net/documents/econTabReport_y2MuS3t.pdf

Then in the few polls that give the responders more choices than just Biden and Trump, Biden and Trump are in the upper 30’s with the remaining respondents stating they’d vote third party or not vote at all. Averaging out those polls which give the respondents multiple choices, you have Trump 38%, Biden 35% with the rest going for RFK Jr, Manchin, Stein, West, others along with will not vote if the rematch occurs. It’s easy to conclude that less than 40% of all Americans actually want Trump to regain the presidency. It’s the same, less than 40% of all Americans want Biden to be reelection. But with the stranglehold monopoly our two major parties have on our election system, one or the other is bound to win against the wishes and wants of around 60% of all Americans.

When around 60% of all Americans don’t want Trump, 60% of all Americans don’t want Biden, how else can this be explained other than a failure of American democracy. That failure is caused by the monopolistic two party systems which totally ignores the wants, wishes, feeling of most Americans or in this case, the don’t wants.

Yes, thats because culture has been very much left wing during that time.

    It still is.

But it is very much moving rightward.

Exactly like I said. I find it funny you thought this somehow disproved my claim.

    Really ?

The core of Trumps supporters, actually support the man, not the policy. As a conservative, please tell me why you support a man who I tried to userp a free and fair election. Trump admits he tried to install fake electors.

Serious question: Do you support that attempt to change the electoral college ?

More americans support trump than Biden, and biden's polls that grade him on his efforts are historically low. Maybe you all should look in the mirror and ask yourselves why?

Maybe you should look at the fact that Trump supporters support the man, while Biden supporters support the polices and ideaology.

Tell me why the Covid cares act ($2.2 Trillion) under Trump got 80% Republican support, but when Biden proposed the American Rescue Plan covid money of $1.9 trillion, it got 10% republican support.

Right, but Trump is winning in just about every poll. So what does that say about Biden?

For now, based on polling data, but things can change in 11 months like it did in 2016 when Hillary Clinton, remember her, was in a position to win the WH as the Democratic Front Runner against Donald J Trump.

The point is, once both major parties have their perspective candidates for President and VP, the race will get tighter because right now, there is about 10% to 13% undecided voters out there, depending on which poll you look at. The other big issue for both candidates is a viable third-party candidate. The "No Labels Party" is right now slated to be on the ballot in 12 states and it remains to be seen if they can reach all 50 plus the District of Columbia by March 2024. If so, this may hurt the GOP more if Trump is the GOP nominee than it will do for Biden.

as I noted, it's easy to buy votes with other peoples' 'moneys. Did you know that if only property owners could vote, Hilary would have lost all but Oregon and Washington states. People who pay that taxes are not nearly as enamored with Democrats as those who are net tax consumers.

OK-I cannot stand Trump personally, never have But I voted twice for him (I voted for my governor Kasich in 2016 primaries and I will vote for Nikki Haley in the Ohio 2024 primary or Ron DeSantis depending on how things are in May). I am glad he won in 2016 because HIS JUDGES AND JUSTICES have helped up start rolling back the idiotic Democrat unconstitutional gun control crap

What in the hell is going on in Michigan?? This article has a ton of quotable quotes

    SNIP
Michigan Republicans have voted to remove state GOP Chair Kristina Karamo during a meeting Saturday after many of the party’s leaders called for her resignation following a year of leadership plagued by debt and infighting.

A large majority of those present voted to oust Karamo, said Bree Moeggenberg, District 2 state committee member.

Karamo did not attend the meeting and has made it clear she will not recognize the vote if removed, claiming the meeting was not official and had been illegally organized.

About a dozen supporters of Karamo gathered Saturday afternoon outside the small indoor gun-range building in Commerce Township where the meeting was being held.

Doherty said that he and others support Karamo and her stance on election integrity and other issues. “I’m concerned that the people on the inside don’t see that and that good progress that is happening,” he said.

Well, if people on the INSIDE aren't seeing the good progress, hard to imagine how anybody on the OUTSIDE seeing it....

I believe there's a great deal more nuance than that. While I still believe Trump is not suited for the job, the thing is that people who support him - and for the sake of argument, let's run with your theory that Trump supporters support Trump. Okay, with Trump you pretty much know who and what he is even if you disagree with it, and you know a vote for Trump is a vote FOR Trump.

But a vote for Biden - at this point, you're not really voting for Biden at all but rather his handlers. I like using this example because it's funny, but Biden being led off by a woman in a bunny suit so that he can't say something dumb, and that's just one example of many showing that Joe is NOT in full control of himself - I mean, it's really obvious at this point that the guy is suffering from some manner of dementia and is being handled/controlled by someone or some committee. So really, even the more hardcore Biden supporters at some level know they're not really voting for Biden at all but someone else - and who knows exactly what he/she/they believe?

Hey, I live in California which will go Biden - assuming things stay status quo - so my vote doesn't matter for anything. I was gonna vote Deadpool, but now I'm thinking a member of the Fantastic Four as a write-in. You want Biden to win? I think @Oldyoungin asked you a pretty reasonable question: Why is it that polls grading him on his efforts are so low? What has Biden and the DNC done that led to this? Blaming Trump ain't gonna win the election, Dems haveta know where their faults are before they can correct them. Can you articulate what they are?

That's all well said (except for the dementia part), but I think it would have had more merit in 1996, not 2024, when people were still interested in making a choice.

I believe "blaming" Trump (I.E. Pointing out who he still is and what he still represents) will be sufficient to win the 6 states in play in 2024. Any polls grading Joes efforts as low will be moot when (if?) people see the name Donald Trump on the ballot.

I now have 3 disagreements with Biden administration policies, but it's not remotely enough to get me to consider the alternative.

The dementia thing - I mean, Biden looking lost while laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, that kinda behavior and others like it isn't lost on people. Okay, it happens once and you can write it off as a bad day or maybe you mixed the Dayquil and Nyquil again, but there's too many instances of it happening to simply write off and too many times where it's on video; there's no denying SOMEthing is happening with Joe there.

The thing about blaming Trump - well, that's pretty much all Hilla did in 2016 and it didn't work then. I don't think 2020 was an indicator because Covid and suchlike skewed everything around so much I think that election was an outlier. But now ... *shrugs* This was something I kept asking in 2016: Why SHOULD I vote for Hilla? All I ever got were reasons to vote against Trump. Okay, I knew why I shouldn't do that but I never got an answer as to why I should vote FOR Hilla outside of she's not Trump and she haz vagina. And I could come up with reasons (in 2016) why I should vote for Trump, although ultimately I didn't vote for him so much as I voted against Hilla. But it's kinda the same thing here. I can't come up with reasons to vote for Trump but at least I'd know what I'm voting for if I was, and Trump himself - again, whether you agree with him or not - can tell you why you should vote for him. Either Biden can't really articulate why you should vote for him or the DNC isn't. Either way, when his polls indicate he's in trouble the best thing to do is examine why and it doesn't look as if the Dems have the self-awareness to ask themselves that question. I don't need to tell you what that kinda hubris did to Hilla.

It's not enough to wanna vote against the opponent, you haveta have a reason to vote for your candidate. Is the DNC giving undecideds - and that would include me, I guess - a reason to do so? I can tell you they're not.

Its says that Trumpists don't care about anything but the man. Your not voting for conservatism, or of policy, just that you think Trump will “piss off the libs”. That says more about those who would vote for him, than it does about Trump himself.

I would say what I really think, but every time I post that it is Krishna like adoration, the mods claim “i might offend someone”.

Wait, so you would vote for a man who tried a soft coup, so that you could have more gun rights, which you claim allows you to fight back against a tyrannical government ?

Please tell me you see the irony in that…..

    1) I reject your claim of a soft coup and I reject the hysterical hyperbole that democrats have spewed over that. Biden is by far a bigger threat to freedom than Trump. I just watched a report that demonstrated how Biden tried to suppress free speech through various government agencies. this was on CBS (not Fox)
    2) I am a professional shooter who has set national records, represented the USA internationally, made the final 12 for two olympic teams, was two time All American in college and the #1 shooter in the conference four straight years-I own guns for all sorts of reasons,-the one you listed is way down on the list

Personally, I think Biden is a bad choice for the dems. He is literally the only dem candidate Trump can beat at this point.

All due respect (appreciate the civil debate), but claiming that “you know what you get with Trump” is disingenuous. Because since we now know for a fact he tried a soft coup, you still would vote for that knowing that he would do that again ? Not only that, but the right wraps themselves in a cloak of the american flag on a daily basis, and then when Trump gets caught stealing national security documents, (and now that the reports are that he was sharing them with people without clearance) your still supporting him?

The right claims that Biden has enriched himself thru Hunter Biden, and the “Biden crime family”, yet here we are 2 years into that claim, and literally no real evidence has been found. I know the repubs in congress claim to have all this evidence, but if they had it, why havent they charged him ?

No, I wont vote for Biden. As I said, he is literally the worst candidate the left could put up, I seriously mean that. BUT, remember that he beat Trump once, and it wasn't because people voted for him, it was because most voted against Trump. What most cant accept about Trump is, that their really arent many who vote for Trump, they vote against democrats. I read a poll after the 2020 election that more people voted against Trump, than “for” Biden, but the poll also claimed that of those that voted for Trump, 60% of them were votes against Biden. What that tells me is that in America we get crappy candidates, and in a two party system, we vote more against the other guy, than “for” the guy we want.

So you reject the know FACT that Trump tried to userp and change the EC ? Seriously tell me that if Bill Clinton had tried to get Mondale to install fake electors, you would be OK with that ?

Good for you…seriously, congrats, thats really kewl that you have done that !!!

That may be way down the list for you, but for most, including the NRA, guns are the third rail and are untouchable in any way, manner, shape, or form. Polls show that 80% of Americans support common sense gun laws.

Here is the funny/sad part for MAGA folk ...

IF Trump wins his court cases, it will mean that Trump was able to convince the courts that -
    A) The President has full immunity for any actions taken while in office. And
    B) The President has the authority to push for "alternate" electors and the VP has the authority to disregard electors and choose a slate that the VP feels is "real".

    Given this -

Biden cannot be defeated, because the courts would have to rule that "alternate" electors can be recognized by the VP (Harris).
Biden could have Trump removed from the country and dispatched, because well, according to Trump, Presidents have full immunity.

So either Trump is held accountable and his legal arguments are found to have no merit - OR - Biden simply uses the new rulings by the courts to
have Harris pick supporting electors - or legally remove Trump from the face of the Earth, because, well, Presidents have full immunity.

So MAGA - what are you hoping for here?
