Because you claimed our democracy is at stake. If this is the case, where is the urgency in removing Ole Joe now?

Why bother? We can just remove from ballot. Work smarter, not harder.

IF the Supreme's side with Colorado then the courts can decide. Otherwise will have to read the Majority Decision to see if they offer any enlightenment on that.

CO courts didnt make a legal decision, they offered an opinion. A court can't convict someone of a crime with out due process, remember the 5th?

Either the states will be allowed to decide through their own process, or each case will be reviewed by the SC.

IMO, whatever solution is reached will be a stop gap until after this election cycle and you will see the issue permanently addressed.

So democracy isn't at stake at all. You just like pretending it is and saying it to score points. LOL, figures.

    We'll see, won't we.
Or the Supreme's could rule once for all.
That would be good, but I doubt the tRumpublican's in Congress will allow a Constitutional Amendment. Maybe, but probably not.

No, actually, they do and that's the point you are devoted to missing.

Which doesn’t change the consequences for tRaitor tRump if the Supreme’s decide in favor of Colorado.
OR they could decide once for all.

Or they could rule that tRaitor tRump did in fact “engage in insurrection, rebellion and/or gave aid and comfort. And is ineligible for the presidency.
That would be a one outcome. But unlikely. It’s really a solution looking for a problem.

This is just more MAGA butthurt that the constitution was modified to consider that a future Trump (or other various insurrectionists) might come along...

If a Democrat jumped off a tall bridge, 6 MAGA's would follow suit just because they'd feel the D was getting something they weren't...

    Hmmmm....

A legally binding opinion... until/if a higher court overrules with another legally binding opinion....

A court can't find someone guilty of insurrection with out a trial. You know the pesky due process we have? They offered an opinion. Eitherway, no where in the 14th does it require a court decision. :)

No, the court decision was to decide the case of Anderson v Griswold, on whether to require the Col SOS to remove Trump from the ballot.

Plaintiffs won. No guilt was determined. Nobody faces prison time (in Colorado)

    Ok
My proof is that the SCOUS is going to review the decisions that CO and Maine made. The case you're making hasn't been done. What you're claiming they can do hasn't been done......and most likely won't be because they know they are wrong.

Not at all! And I would not have a problem if they removed Biden when/if he has 91 indictments against him.

I don’t think this is the win for Republicans you think it is. Only a few states matter every elevation cycle. Missouri isn’t one of them. Colorado is tho.

This is all so ridiculous. Once again, Democrats and Republicans acting like idiotic little children. **** it, ban both parties, and lets get an independent like RFK in office. Screw the left and right. They are nothing but trouble for America, trying to cancel eachother out without any concern for the will of the people. As long as the left and right get their way, they could care less about the means to get there.

I would.... having indictments is not in the Constitution as grounds for not holding office.

Although.... now that you bring it up.............
