And than the UN created the state of Palestine.
And the UNSC demands that Israel must comply with the Geneva Conventions and so it must remove it's colonist of their land.

We aint in 1948 anymore, Jack.

    It did not.
Israel obtained a minute part of the Ottoman empire, and far from all of it. The borders were drawn and the Jews refuse to comply. Israel facilitates the war crime, and subsequently the UNSC made a binding resolution that Israel must remove it's citizens out of Palestine, including east-Jerusalem.

The entire conflict goes back to the Arabs' rejection of the UN partition in 1948.

No one claimed otherwise. Looking for some irrelevancy you can comment about?

The only border was around all of Israel and Jordan. You dont know what you are talking about.

Yemen's Houthi rebels escalate Red Sea attacks, hit Trafigura fuel tanker
    Story by Reuters • 1h

CAIRO/HOUSTON (Reuters) -Yemen's Houthi rebels on Friday stepped up attacks on vessels transiting the Red Sea, including a hit that sparked a fire on a fuel tanker operated on behalf of trading firm Trafigura.

Trafigura said a missile struck the fuel tanker Marlin Luanda as it transited the Red Sea. The tanker was carrying Russian naphtha purchased below the price cap in line with G7 sanctions, a Trafigura spokesperson said.

Firefighting equipment on board was being deployed to suppress and control a fire in one cargo tank on the starboard side, the company said in an emailed statement.

The US seems poised to stop supporting Ukraine. If only you had someone other than that pro Israeli comedian as your president, I could see viable avenues for Ukraine to find better and more reliable friends.

Except it's the pro-Kremlin wing of the Trump Party that is responsible for the stop in aid. Biden is doing what he can.

I was referring to Zelensky when I mentioned the "pro Israeli comedian" and assumed you are Ukrainian (hence "your president"). Regardless, my real point is that it just doesn't make much sense for Ukraine to have a president very loyal to a member to a state whose longest serving prime minister is a key member of a "trifecta" (Putin-Trump-Netanyahu) who had made all sorts of secret and not so secret handshake agreements, some of it clearly at Ukraine's expense. And much of it at Iran's expense as well.

Houthi missile attack kills two crew members in Yemen rebels' first fatal assault on shipping

Updated Wed, March 6, 2024 at 2:05 PM CST

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — A missile attack by Yemen's Houthi rebels on a commercial ship in the Gulf of Aden killed two of its crew members and forced survivors to abandon the vessel on Wednesday, officials said, in the first fatal strike in a campaign of assaults by the Iranian-backed group over Israel's war on Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The attack on the Barbados-flagged bulk carrier True Confidence further escalates the conflict on a crucial maritime route linking Asia and the Middle East to Europe that has disrupted global shipping. The Houthis have launched attacks since November, and the U.S. began an airstrike campaign in January that so far hasn't halted their attacks.

Meanwhile, Iran announced Wednesday that it would confiscate a $50 million cargo of Kuwaiti crude oil for American energy firm Chevron Corp. aboard a tanker it seized nearly a year earlier. It is the latest twist in a yearslong shadow war playing out in the Middle East’s waterways even before the Houthi attacks began.

I must say, it's not exactly a resounding success so far, this operation. I don't see this being effective until someone puts boots on the ground and gives these idiots the same treatment that ISIS and Al Qaeda have gotten. Not that it would likely go much better than any other Middle Eastern forever war has gone, of course, but it would probably be enough to stop the attacks on shipping.
