This is a big deal that’s going to be talked about heavily. I believe we should cut off all funding to the UN until this has been resolved and figure out how deep the support for Hamas goes in the UN.

I believe this stinks to high heaven. And has an orchestrated tone to it after you think about the countries that Hamas leaders are hiding in.

what do you all think about this?

A lot of the so-called international community is a wolf in sheep's clothing and is a front organization of terrorists. So don't worry so much about the criticism from the international community. Be yourself. Trust your instincts on right and wrong.

The media condemned Trump for eliminating aid to UNRWA back in 2018. Im sure Biden will be praised.

There is an investigation into the UN funding the migrants’ trip to the U.S.

"The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) is funded almost entirely by voluntary contributions from UN Member States. UNRWA also receives some funding from the Regular Budget of the United Nations, which is used mostly for international staffing costs.
The Agency’s services encompass education, health care, relief and social services, camp infrastructure and improvement, microfinance and emergency assistance, including in times of armed conflict."

We, and other nations have been giving them handouts since 1948, and last year there were 5.9 million who rely on these handouts.
Trump did stop the funding for a while.

It was only then we found that UNRWA had 13,000 employees who's only job was to decide how to spend OUR money.
But Biden overturned that decision and again opened up the taxpayers wallet.
Time to slowly wean them off the teat so they can stand on their own 2 feet and the $153.7 million Biden sends them could be used here at home.

If we stop funding them, we better damned well replace that with our own organizations. It is beyond evil to cut off aid to the Palestinians, who are already suffering so greatly. They need help, and they need it now. It is the worst humanitarian crisis on earth right now.

It’s so terrible they should all be begging to be let out of that hellhole, even rushing the border en masse into Egypt.

except. Strangely. They aren’t doing that. That’s weird.

Egypt has said no to them coming there. And the Palestinians want to keep their homeland. The Israelis had already stolen the homes of 750,000 Palestinians during the Nakba. They do not want it happening again. Would you allow a foreign regime to drive you from your home? I would not.
You seriously think what has been classified as the greatest humanitarian crisis on earth with 2,000,000 people displaced, where some 50-60% of their buildings have been destroyed, often with civilians still in them, is not a crisis?

You obviously have no idea what the prospect of imminent death does to people. If a simple “no” was good enough, we wouldn’t have any illegals coming over our border.

Research what happens when war happens. Newsflash: people leave. They can become quite desperate to when their lives are on the line.

Research what happened when we left Afghanistan. You might come across some interesting facts you knew nothing about on how desperate people acted when they knew we were abandoning them.

So you claim the greatest humanitarian crisis on earth right now is what? A walk in the park?

News flash to you: they CAN’T leave, even if they wanted to. They are stuck between border walls and the Mediterranean Sea.

so you’re saying walls work? That’s strange, Democrats don’t seem to think so. 2.3 million people can’t figure out how to get past a wall, or hell, even be shown on camera begging to be let across it.

Hell, there’s even tunnels that Hamas uses underneath the Egyptian border where they get their weapons and rockets from. Or did you think they get them from magic wands?

A desperate people can’t do anything desperate?! Lol!

~ The U.N. should be cut off permanently. Let the elites that attend and support the WEF fund both .

Evidence Shows Widespread Support for October 7th Terrorists Among UNRWA Teachers in Gaza
Notwithstanding the repeated denials by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and its insistence that it has zero tolerance for hatred and antisemitism, UN Watch continues to find abhorrent antisemitism and support for jihadi terrorism by UNRWA staff on social media. This report details how UNRWA teachers in a 3,000-member UNRWA staff Telegram group cheered and celebrated Hamas’s October 7th massacre while at the same time asking when their UNRWA salaries will be paid. The UNRWA staff in the group shared photos and video footage of those events and prayed for the terrorists’ success and for Israel’s destruction, in clear violation of UN rules.

I wonder how many Palestinians would like to leave? I wouldn't be so bold to imply that any of them want to stay.

Of their own making. You elect a terrorist organization expect to get mayhem in return. Americans don't owe Palestinians a damn thing.

Well, I'm not a democrat and do not see the comparison between the tiny sliver of border of Gaza and the immense border of Texas. You are rambling all over the place here. Try to stay focused.

I don't really know, honestly. I'm basing that off of some interviews I've seen. In any case, nobody wants them, so they are stuck. It is a terrible situation.

What percentage of the Palestinians do you think actually elected Hamas that were still alive on October 7th, when the average age there is 19? How many elections have been held since Hamas came to power? Hamas was very unpopular in Palestine before the October 7th attacks. I imagine their popularity has risen, since Israel has slaughtered over 1% of their entire population. That would be like killing 3 to 4 million Americans.

Why should UNRWA be replaced? There already are two other UN bodies tasked with the protection of refugees and the internally displaced: UNHCR and IOM.

have we transferred all of the funding to those bodies and ensured they have picked up all of the slack that UNRWA left? It is absolutely our duty to do so, seeing how it is our support of Israel that brought this nightmare scenario into being. And because it is simply the right thing to do.

The popularity of Hamas increases and decreases periodically. Increases in popularity have nothing to do with the number of Palestinians killed by Israel but with the number of Israelis killed in terror attacks by Hamas.

What you imagine is irrelevant. Support for any type of organization, anywhere in the world, will decrease if their actions lead to increased harm to civilians.

My post wasn’t long and every part of it specific to the conclusive point made in the last sentence. But I get it, you don’t actually have an answer for anything so you’re just trying to save face and slink off.

    Well? Get slinking
