Hey, who hasn't mixed up Egypt and Mexico, right?

After all, they're both countries, they both have pyramids, they both have southern borders.

How could you NOT confuse them. I was in Puerto Vallarta the other day looking for the Sphinx. OK, it took a while to find, but it was an adventure, right? I even ran into Mo Salah...oh wait, that was Liverpool, but who cares, right?

I mean, don't sweat the details. You should see this great hookah bar I found in Cancun. Charlton Heston took me there. Had some kind of stick that was eating all the mice.

Let's hear it for the mainstream media! Damn, they're on our side. South side? North side?

Hey, who hasn't mixed up Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley.

After all they are both women, they both have breasts and they both have political beliefs.

How could you not confuse them. I was in Mir a Lago the other day looking for an honest man. OK, it took a while to find but it was an adventure, right? I even ran into George Santos...oh wait that was in the House of Representatives, but who cares, right?

I mean, don't sweat the details. You should have seen the great bistro I found in Cancun. Ted Cruz took me there. Had some kind of excuse for not caring about the hurricane.

Lets hear it for the right wing media! Damn they hate our side, want to treat the left with cyanide.

Damn this is fun, you've created a new game.

And you're playing a very old game.

Did the MSM go running to Trump's defense?

A better question would be who has mixed up Egypt and Mexico?

All I've got is a sad shell of a man who isn't mentally fit to stand trial, much less run the country.

Considering both front runners make the same kind of mistakes with confusing names, it seems to not be a useful way to distinguish them. I am all for both sides finding better candidates, though.

    But Biden!
Did the Right Wing media go rushing to Biden's defense.

This game is not as much fun.

Uh, no. Trump called Nickki Haley Nancy Pelosi after several minutes of talking about Nikki Haley. That happens.

Biden said Mexico when asked about Hamas.

Twice in the past week Biden said he talked to people who died years ago.

Trump can stand up in front of a crowd and talk for 2 hours.

Biden can't talk for 5 minutes without calling his wife a former Vice Senatresident.

Is there a quantitative list somewhere, because frankly it seems like both of them do it a lot:

    "
Biden: “I think as you know initially, the president of Mexico, El-Sisi, did not want to open up the gate to humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate.”

The president said this Thursday night in the same news conference when he defended his memory. Biden was discussing bringing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and mixed up Mexico with Egypt, whose president is Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Trump: “I did not endorse Sen. Lankford. I didn’t do it. He ran, and I did not endorse him.”

Trump made this claim in a radio interview Monday with conservative host Dan Bongino. Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., has drawn the ire of Republicans for negotiating a border deal that his party, at the urging of Trump, quickly rejected. On Sept. 27, 2022, Trump issued a statement giving Lankford his “Complete and Total Endorsement!”

Biden: “When I pushed all these programs, I said I’m going to be a president for everybody whether you live in a red state or green state.”

The president said this during a speech Thursday to the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference in Leesburg, Virginia. He clearly meant to say “blue” instead of “green.”

Trump: “Nikki Haley was in charge of security. We offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guards, whatever they want. They turned it down. They don’t want to talk about that.”

Trump made this claim at a Jan. 19 campaign event in New Hampshire. He was discussing security at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the day a mob of his supporters stormed the building. Trump appeared to confuse Haley, his competitor in the Republican primary, with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom he has repeatedly — and falsely — blamed for not adequately securing the Capitol.

Biden: “Right after I was elected, I went to a G7 meeting in southern England. And I sat down and said, ‘America is back!’ and Mitterand from Germany — I mean France — looked at me and said, ‘How long you back for?'”

The president said this Sunday during a campaign event in Las Vegas. Emmanuel Macron was France’s president right after Biden was elected in 2020. François Mitterrand led France from 1981-95. He died in 1996. Three days after saying this, Biden made a similar mistake during two separate campaign events in New York when he mixed up the names of former German Chancellors Angela Merkel and Helmut Kohl.

Trump: “We did with Obama. We won an election that everyone said couldn't be won.”

The former president appeared to confuse Obama’s and Biden’s names in a speech in Washington in September. It’s something Trump has done publicly at least eight times, including last month in a Fox News interview. He has claimed he does so intentionally and sarcastically. Trump has not defeated Biden in an election, either, although he falsely claims he lost because of widespread fraud.

In the same September speech, Trump argued Biden’s cognitive decline would lead the U.S. into “World War II.”

Biden: “Just to get here, Liberty and Bell had to beat some tough odds and competition. They had to work hard, to show patience, and be willing to travel over 1,000 miles. You could say it’s even harder than getting a ticket to the Renaissance tour or, or Britney’s tour. She’s down, it’s kind of warm in Brazil right now.”

Biden told this joke last year during the president’s traditional pardoning of turkeys before Thanksgiving. Liberty and Bell were the lucky turkeys. The president seemed to confuse Britney Spears and Taylor Swift. Spears has not toured since 2018. Swift was touring in Brazil at the time.

Trump: “There’s a man, Viktor Orbán. Did anyone ever hear of him? He’s probably, like, one of the strongest leaders anywhere in the world. He’s the leader of Turkey.”

Orbán is the prime minister of Hungary, not Turkey. Trump made this mistake during an October campaign speech in October. Less than a week later, at an Iowa rally, Trump said, “Hungary fronts on both Ukraine and Russia.” Hungary does not share a border with Russia.
" Both Biden and Trump have had their share of verbal gaffes (baynews9.com)

I recall another source mentioned Biden did well at the last state of the union. We'll see how he does at the next one.

In all fairness, there’s a (sadly) very large number of Americans who couldn’t point out Egypt or Mexico on a map if you asked, or tell you anything about either country apart from pyramids and tacos.

99.99% of Trump supporters who constantly attack Biden on his memory lapses wouldn't know the names of the Mexican and Egyptian presidents. A majority probably also couldn't find Egypt on a map. And, for their own leader, being uninformed in international matters is a bonus, because, in Trump supporters' mind, these countries are shi$holes anyway. But, they certainly react with the predicted outrage, triggered by RW media.

You know it's pretty funny how you left wingers assured us that the best thing about Biden is that he is not Trump but yet the only defense you can ever come up with for the man is.... but Trump

You could have put odious in front of political beliefs but what was your point? But give Joe time and he probably will No we want the left to speak the truth even though the truth in the case of clueless Joe is in some ways akin to cyanide for the left.

It's one thing to make a gaff every six months or so -- yes, we all do it -- but to make a gaff every time we speak and to be 82 years old -- well that tells us the brain is shutting down. But if anyone wants to defend Biden or vote for him again, be my guest -- you now know for sure what you're getting.

They are also not president.... One should expect more not less of one's president. I don't expect that joe six pack sitting on his lounge and sipping a beer to have mastered geography. I do expect the president of the country to be able to get through a speech attempting to establish his mental acuity to get through it without making a dozen different obvious errors, and having to be lead off by his wife.

We have gone from a forum where we used to discuss issues to a forum where we accuse others and call people names. That is easy as I showed earlier. The country is divided because some people have become tools to spread that division. We have been given less than we deserve because we have not expected to get what we deserve. We have been taught to scream about the perceived faults of others while ignoring our own. We have forgotten that the Bible says do unto others as you would have others do unto you. We have begun to expect violence and threats as the means to gain our ends. There are too many people that try to make themselves look better by making others look smaller.
I miss intelligent discussions of issues because they are few and far between on this forum.
