They are tough, but not invincible. We had to destroy one in Iraq with C4 after it's tracks got blown off and it got stuck. We didn't want anyone else to get ahold of it, so we shot it with another Abrams, which didn't do anything to it. So we rigged it on the inside with twice as much C4 as it probably should have needed just to be sure.

I never said it would be better under Russian control.

I'm all for European troops going to Ukraine to kill Russians. U.S. troops can provide support for that effort.

What I don't want to see, is U.S. troops in the thick of the fight.

If France wants to send troops to the TO, then they should go right ahead. Maybe they can win one for a change.
