The US must certainly step up for its own interests. The USA, however, also plays an indispensable global role.

If Putin grabs Europe, then the world will be a different place, the USA ending up as a sort of ‘democratic island’ on a planet of dictators and nuclear weapons.
The problem with such an ‘island’ situation is that the US needs international trade to buy materials it can’t do without.
For instance, advanced chips are needed to sustain and update the military defense system and are also embedded in each car or fridge we buy.
Chips are made in the Far East and the only machines that can produce the advanced ones are developed in the Netherlands, so Europe.

My guess is that it will take at least 10 years for the US as a ‘democratic island’ to catch up with technology to make everything itself.
And even then, there are some indispensable raw materials and rare earth elements that the US doesn’t have on its soil, some of them needed for making electronics.

That is why don’t believe in island-thinking politics.
I sincerely believe that the few democratic parts left in the world should strongly stick together, the US, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.
Together, the so-called Western countries have almost 1 billion people, which is not much in today’s world, but together they are rich and strong enough to enforce respect.

Trump is planning to make a deal with Ukraine and Russia. The eastern part of the country for Putin, the western part for Zelinsky, and then there is peace. Everybody happy.
The problem is that Putin has never kept any agreement from his side.
When he signs an agreement, he is just buying time so that he can strike harder when he is ready for it.
Putin has always worked on the criminal side of the Russian political system and has never stopped doing so.
He is the combination of Al Capone and Hitler. No way you catch him with a nice piece of paper.
He might agree temporarily, but he will come back.

Therefore the message to Putin must be clear and loud. If he attacks NATO at any of its borders, then Moscow will be bombarded to such an extent, that no single building or lamppost will be standing anymore.
That is the sort of language a mafia boss such as Putin respects.

Let there be no doubt folks, any weakness or disagreement within NATO, will trigger Putin to start WW3!

I must agree with much of what you say. But I have a question. We all know Trump has stated he could end the Ukraine war quickly. But I am not aware of any specific measures, like granting Russia rights to some Ukrainian lands. Can you direct us to some site where this is recorded?

If Biden were somehow still President in 2025........ almost any massive disaster would be conceivable!

There is no "taking Europe", only global nuclear war, likely mere hours after either Russia or NATO step foot on the others' territory.

A better plan would be to just skip the invasion and press the button. At least you get a bit of a jump on the other side, and you wouldn't have half your army in a foreign land when the bombs start falling. Bonus points for getting as many people underground as you can in advance.
