Well well well. It looks like Hurr got caught misrepresenting Biden's interview. No wondier he left the DoJ because he did what any person would do who knows they committed an egregious act and rather than face the consequences, he resigned. Biden should demand Garland fire every deep state critter who was installed during the previous administration. We need to bring respectability back to the DOJ and no hire prosecutors who are only trying to score political points.

Only a true brainwashed liberal can look at the current Joe Biden and believe he isn't senile. :roflol:

I was wondering why Hur left a good job. In doing so, no retaliation is possible.

Good thing we have the transcripts.

Unfortunately, the Republican party has resorted to misleading and fictitious information to try and make their point.
For the last few years they have focused on either defending Trump or slinging mud at opponents instead of touting actual good they've done or intend to do for the country. They have little in the terms of policy because they failed to cut the Trump tether, and now are being led by a person who is unstable and has no real consistency in policy other than what is good for Trump politically.
Example: Republicans could have passed solid legislation for border issues, something to actually make a difference, and could have used that as something to campaign on, "look what we did", but instead refuse to pass a bill to improve so that the issue can be used by Republicans and Trump to criticize the Dems.
I keep hearing the same mantra from Republicans "fix the border", "stop inflation", "fix the schools", etc, yet they have had 3 years of Republican majority in the House and a close Senate and haven't addressed those issues legislatively yet. What is their strategy? Oh yeah, criticize the opposition.
They are lame. The sad part is it works on some people.
Republicans have an opportunity to show that they are serious about getting things done and are dropping the ball every time it's thrown their way.
The average Joe is getting tired of the 'anti' politics. I think the only way they are still relevant is by the creative voting districts (the district lines in my state look like a Picasso painting).

And it was intentional. He couldn't find any dirt on Biden, so rather than make a honest report, he deflected to Biden's memory to give fodder to his detractors, and it worked because they are no longer focused on Hurr being corrupt and not indicting Biden.

Well if true, it's a shame that someone would throw away a career for political favor.

I believe he is trading careers from lawyer to politician. Lots of people have learned from Trump that you can milk the base so long as you tell the people what they want to hear.

Ha ha ha…! Every time his critics have put one label or another on Joe, he has turned it around and used it as an effective weapon….see the Dark Brandon meme as an example. The latest one I like is stupid Hannity calling him ‘Jacked Up Joe’ after the very successful SOTU speech. I’m hoping Joe will use that one as well to throw back in the faces of the MAGA morons…!

Ole' Joe is a well known and capable man who governs for all Americans and the free world. People don't have to be gobsmacked or star struck into a personality c**t.

I could believe this if there wasn't copious evidence in other situations of Biden's mental decline.

The guy is going senile. It's happening. Pretending it isn't is just dishonest.

The same is true for Trump. If you're someone that has a problem with Biden's mental state but not Trump's who is catching up to Biden, then you a hypocrite.

That's hilarious, as I read an article earlier in the day saying the exact opposite.

JRB is a remarkably durable politician. Underestimating him has always been a serious mistake.

Exactly, just like Jake Smith. Heck Smith's is known as the DA that pushes legal boundaries to find a prosecution.

Pushing legal boundaries is a tad different from outright lying.

One can get you disbarred or charged.

Prosecutorial misconduct has been common for a very long time. They are seldom punished for it.

Especially when they resign before action can be taken against them.

At the very least, the DC swamp deep state lost a member since Hurr resigned.

LOL. No matter how you want to spin it, Americans know the truth. They have seen many clips of Biden. That's like the left saying the economy is going great when Americans still can't afford rent or to even buy groceries.

The system has been a broken mess for decades. The fix will not be easy.

More than 90% of both federal and state court cases are resolved through plea bargaining, sidestepping the courtroom entirely. This confluence of autonomy, secrecy, complex laws, and powerful sentencing tools endow prosecutors with enormous leverage, leading critics to question whether this power is wielded too selectively and relentlessly, undermining the right to a fair trial, fostering mass incarceration, and eroding what’s left of the public’s faith in equal justice. Without thorough insights into prosecutorial decision-making, can we truly foster a justice system that embodies fairness and equity? As we grapple with these concerns, we must understand that scrutiny of this largely unseen force is not just about holding power to account; it is a necessary step toward ensuring a truly just and fair system.”
