The family of the Missouri girl who has been charged with beating 16-year-old Kaylee Gain into unconsciousness says she is the real victim and had been “harassed and bullied” before the caught-on-video assault.
The 15-year-old’s aunt told Daily Mail that her niece – described as an honor student with a stellar record at Hazelwood East High School — was defending herself during the viral March 8 fight in Spanish Lakes, Missouri.
The accused attacker’s loved ones are asking the juvenile court system to show “compassion” for the teen and they are seeking $150,000 in donations toward her legal defense.

This is absolutely unreal. Hard to imagine this is even true.
The unmitigated gall and colossal arrogance is staggering.

So let me see if I understand..... This girl gives the other girl brain damage putting her in critical condition because of alleged bullying and that is supposed to be "self-defense"?

Let's go ahead and assume that the bullying and harassment is true..... The last I checked that is not sufficient grounds to give someone brain damage and put them in critical condition and that is not a valid self-defense charge in any universe.

But remember she's the actual victim here.... I'm waiting for them to call GoFundMe "racist" for pulling this down... Even though they have a policy of not collecting funds for people accused of violent crimes

Well here is her family making her out to be the victim without a single word of sympathy for the actual victim with brain damage. Having absolutely nothing to say for the real victim but making excuses to justify it..... Not a single word of compassion or apology for the real victim

A child does not develop that sort of hate without some sort of outside influence. you do not bash someone's skull repeatedly into the ground unless you are filled with hate and rage or you're actually trying to kill the person because of a legitimate self-defense

 

One thing that pisses me off about this, is there seems to be some possibility that if Kaylee survives (and recovers), this case may remain in juvenile court.
I want the Perp tried as an Adult (in every circumstance).
Obviously, the Perp's version of events is claiming that the Perp had been bullied by Kaylee and Kaylee's (African-American) Boyfriend.

 

And she needs to be charged with attempted murder because that is exactly what this was.

 

Well, if they take her off the tube, it becomes an actual murder. Just saying. Two young lives ruined forever and with the new Michigan precedent, the parents's cell phone texts should be read.
