That's not true. It's NY law, Judge Engoron had nothing to to with the bong requirement.

    What’s an appeal bond?
"An appeal bond, sometimes referred to by the Latin supersedeas, meaning “you shall desist,” is a guarantee that the party appealing a ruling against them can and will pay the judgment if their appeal is ultimately unsuccessful. The person appealing the ruling is known as the appellant."
    https://theconversation.com/trump-j...pens-if-he-cant-get-a-454-million-loan-226187

    • Actually when Judge Engoron made his rulings most legal experts believed they would hold up on appeal.
    • I don't think you can prove that tRaitor tRumps liquidity had anything to do with Judge Engoron's decision. but if you can please post a link, I'm interested.
    • The ruling that tRaitor tRump can't do business is only stayed until the appeal is over.
    • The whole thing was by the book.
    • Reducing the bond was just another case of elitist favoritism tRaitor tRump has enjoyed all his life.
    • The extended timeline goes hand in hand with the lower bond amount.
No, they said he could post a reduced bond and has another 10 days to come up with the funds; that's ALL they said.
Engoron is out of it, he made his judgment knowing tRaitor tRump would appeal, the only one at risk to lose anything is tRaitor tRump. Which he most certainly will, how much is what's being debated.
No, it was tRaitor tRump's lawyer that didn't know what she was "doing".
Whuuuuuuut? Where do you come up with this stuff; have you got a link for that too, please?

    Prove what?

I asked a reasonable question that demands a truthful answer:

"Did the Loser pleasure himself watching his goons attacking outnumbered police defending the Capitol
for four hours as his aides, advisers, media enablers, and family members pleaded with him to call them off?"

We're talking NY State law, not Federal. But to your point requiring a performance bond to appeal for a financial penalty doesn't violate OUR Constitution.

    You can fantasize, of course.

As of now, the fraud owes the State of New York bigly based upon legal rulings.

How did the Loser conduct himself during the four hours he watched his goons attacking outnumbered police, ignoring all those who pleaded with him to stop what he had incited?

Well I don't know about that 175 million plus 91 million are no small chunks of change

    Indeed.

Where is the ruling that the State of New York violated either amendment in assessing a penalty on the fraud?

No ruling needed. It's painfully obvious.

Attorney General Letitia James’ charges against the fraud were filed on September 21, 2022.

What does Bragg’s trial have to do with Engoron’s trial…. Besides the common denominator witness they can’t quite determine which trial he lied in…

Trump wasn't charged. He was sued. Learn the difference.

You do understand that the $464 million judgement hasn't been reduced only the bond requirement.

If trump loses the appeal she will still go after that full judgment amount.

Two judgements on the same day. TRaitor tRump got a favorable result on the "Bond" issue and a negative result trying to get the "Hush Money Trail" postponed.

I don't know. But when I'm unsure of things related to Trump, I don't immediately imagine him pleasuring himself.

One man did indeed testify he was instructed to commit fraud — they launched an investigation and found that to be accurate.

This is only one of the many fraud cases the trump organization and trump family have been involved in.

Aren’t they still barred from operating a charity in NY due to fraud? Was that case also trying to prevent him from running for president?

    I heard on TV that Trump wanted to delay one trial and couldn't, but it looks like things are working for Trump so he could have what he wants;
The longer Trump's trials are put off, the more he'll argue that it's impractical and unfair to stick him in a courtroom instead of leaving him to campaign.

It looks like Trump is trying to have his way and he thinks he can win it. Here's something else:
