The MAGA GANG , with it's devotion to Trump and Trump-think..........would not be surprising , if they start their own "religion" They are close to having their own political party. ....!!??

 

Can't help but wonder what exactly is in the "Trump Bibles". How to steal and election. How to go bankrupt?? How to lie and get away with it?? How to defame other people.?? How to make "greed" attractive?? How to have affairs and then lie about it or pretend it never happened. etc etc.

Yep, only a moron would pay $0.5 million for Hunter's "art". And only a moron would pay $60 for Trump's bible. My guess: It is much more likely that you buy Trump's bible than me making a pilgrimage to see Hunter's "art". That's the nature of the fanclub's devotion to Trump, and their tendency to project their own behavior onto their perceived political enemies.

But, this is not about Hunter's grift, this is about Trump's grift and his attempt at monetizing religion. So far, you haven't been able to denounce it, other than pointing fingers at Dems in a weak attempt of deflection.

 

Textbook example of politicizing and cashing in on religion / Christianity. There are very few instance in the Bible when Christ was literally angry, and the best example was when people tried to profit from religion (money changers at the temple). Soon after that He was crucified.

An adulterer, liar, profane, greedy, arrogant guy who claims he does not need God's forgiveness is selling Bibles to make money to pay for the fines for his crimes......... and I thought I've seen it all.

It amazes me how easily Evangelicals allow themselves to be played when the Bible teaches then to be observant. It says "by their fruits you shall know them". See below which "fruits" Trump represents. I have underlined the ones which define him. Trump checks almost all the "works of the flesh" and none of the "fruits of the Spirit".

Fruits of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control
vs
Works/fruits of the flesh: Sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies

When the anti-Christ comes, who will be a political figure, he will be elevated to the throne by well meaning, but gullible Christians, because this Trump experiment has proven they will support anyone and anything as long as they say what they want to hear. Almost no one cares about the "fruits" anymore. There are very few "fruit inspectors" left.

He has all the traits that are generally deplored and none that are admired. And that's by people ... generally. Most people that claim to be "Christians" wouldn't have anything to do with him. But! They also claim to love the Constitution but don't believe in that "separation of church and state junk" either.

I have to forgive the so-called MAGA Christians. They are like Trump, they buy and sell Bible, claim they are Christian, but they never read the Bible. How would they know what’s in the Bible?

To be fair, MAGA "christians" are "evangelicals", they are not traditional Christians. As an example, if you were to listen to Joel Olstein, success (as defined by wealth) is Godly, God's will for you. Of course, that very interpretation justifies his wealth and lifestyle provided through his followers.
