All she did was show up at the wake and volunteer to speak at the funeral so that she could play both sides toward the middle. Her conduct is crass and inappropriate.

Officer Diller's murderer was a convicted felon with a rap sheet a mile long, and it was illegal for him to have a gun. One would think that a violent felon with more than 20 arrests might have warranted being in prison, or some extra attention after being turned loose 20+ times.
