I had an appointment with my doctor today and while I was in the waiting room I was watching the news coming out of El Paso. They were reporting that, so far this year, they already broke the record for the number of deaths at the border. I was called in to see the doctor before I could hear what the number of deaths are, but they did say that men, women and children are dying at an alarming rate. I also didn’t catch what side of the border the people are dying on.

 

What are the causes of all these deaths? What is the rate of death as compared to previous years?
