After 10/7 showed Palestine is not willing to live in peace. Their atrocities forfeited any right they had to appeal to the greater humanity. Unfortunately this will have to play out in whatever manner Israel deems appropriate. If Hamas is the victor then they will have succeeded in their barbaric actions. I somehow doubt it. Should Hamas make inroads the US will have to step in and eradicate Hamas. They have no right after 10/7 to complain about ANYTHING! They haven't even released the hostages, so peace is a nonstarter.

After 10/7 Hamas has forfeited any right to demand ANYTHING! They haven't even released hostages. They haven't surrendered their war criminals. It is a nonstarter. Hamas and the Palestinians have shown they are incapable of living in peace. Their inhumanity is without bounds and was there for all to see on 10/7. Unfortunately this will therefore have to play out. Palestine has no leg to stand on here. They can no longer be tolerated. Unfortunately their behavior precludes anyone from wanting to take them in. So they will have to live with their decisions to live outside humanity.

The Jews acceptance of the UN's Partition Plan didn't change their overall objective of transforming Palestine into a ethno-supremacist, Jewish majority state. Arab resistance in 1948 simply delayed the Jew's illegal military conquest of Palestine until 1967:

https://palestinecampaign.org/resou...ne is located in,the Ottoman (Turkish) empire.

"The West Bank and Gaza Strip have been under illegal Israeli military rule since they were occupied in the 1967 war, and today are referred to as the “Occupied Palestinian Territories”. East Jerusalem was also annexed illegally by Israel in 1967.

"For over 60 years the Palestinians have been denied the right to self-determination and statehood."

October 7th gave Jews in Israel a green-light to accelerate their slow-motion genocide in Palestine into the mass displacement of millions of innocent civilians into the Sinai:

    https://thecradle.co/articles/leaked-israeli-plan-to-ethnically-cleanse-gaza

"Israeli culture magazine Mekomit published on 28 October a leaked document issued by Israel’s Ministry of Intelligence recommending the occupation of Gaza and total transfer of its 2.3 million inhabitants to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

"The document, issued on 13 October, identifies a plan to transfer all residents of the Gaza Strip to North Sinai as the preferred option among three alternatives regarding the future of the Palestinians in Gaza at the end of the current war between Israel and the Hamas-led Palestinian resistance."

That is nothing more than speculation to make excuses for Palestinians' stupid decision to go to war in 1948 and military incompetence thereafter.

Gaza is totally opposed to becoming a colony under Israeli military law such as is Israel's plan in West Bank.

Gaza has been living under constant war by Israel for DECADES.

That doesn't justify terrorism, but it certainly does justify taking part in the war that Israel has long ``waged against them.

Israel hasn't surrendered its war criminals, either.

"Taken in"??? Gaza isn't fighting to be "taken in". They are fighting to end Israel's 20 year war against them.

Gaza has significant fossil fuel resources as well as a coastline. They had an airport until Israel destroyed it and prevent it from being rebuilt. They have had international trade until Israel blocked them even from EXPORTS.

Gaza can build back THEIR land to become a thriving modern population - if the world allows them to do so. That is what Gaza has been fighting for.

Yes, there has been hate built up over Israel's ruinous siege that for 20 years has kept them on the edge of poverty and has purposefully destroyed their economy.

Today, the genocide waged by Israel is a serious international crime that demands being addressed by the courts that handle humanitarian atrocity on this scale.

So why are you trying to justify it?

    Gaza continues. Should Israel not?

It is no longer THEIR land. 10/7 ceded the right to any land Gaza cannot hold. The world allowed them to do just that, become a thriving modern population. Israel even built them power plants and water purification facilities. Hamas and the Palestinians instead built tunnels. The world now realizes Gaza has no interest in becoming a thriving modern population. Hamas and the Palestinians have no desire to live in peace. They want peace only to enable them to make war. Then they have the audacity to claim Israel not respond harshly? It doesn't work that way. The atrocities of 10/7 preclude Hamas and the Palestinians from dictating the terms of peace. Release the hostages, put down arms, turn over your war criminals and sue for peace if you want peace. Otherwise, quit whining like school girls that the war you started isn't going your way. If you don't like the arse whoopin then don't start fights. Especially through heinous conduct and human rights violations of the kind the world witnessed on 10/7. The world cannot allow such behavior to be repeated. Those responsible for 10/7 must never be given the ability to repeat such horrid conduct. No olive branch. They no longer hold claim to a homeland and no one else wants them either. They refuse to cease attacking Israel, they refuse to return the hostages, they refuse to turn over their war criminals. Obviously, they are choosing to war. "If it is war they want, it is war we shall give them, until the mere thought of it is wiped from their minds for generations to come" - William Tecumseh Sherman. The atrocities of 10/7 warrant no generations to come, especially since Palestine continues to choose war.

Looks like Gaza was doing much better with peace. And the war was not waged by Israel. There indeed were humanitarian atrocities on 10/7. No justification for it and the crimes of 10/7 will be addressed. Until then, get back in your holes and continue the fight you desire.

There is nothing speculative about the European Jews', who began the Zionist movement over 100 years ago, commitment to the "logic of elimination" regarding the indigenous non-Jewish population in Palestine.

    https://www.palestine-studies.org/en/node/1654742

"Land and demography were always at the heart of the conflict between the Zionist colonial-settlers in Palestine and the indigenous Palestinians.

"Today most scholars of colonialism recognize that, unlike traditional European colonialism in Asia and Africa, which was aimed at exploiting indigenous peoples, the 'logic of elimination,' displacement, and seizure of land are at the heart of settler colonialism, with Zionist settler-colonization in Palestine continuing to expand relentlessly until the present day, creating hundreds of settlements across the West Bank."

    Gaza is still Gaza.

Israel's 20 years of constant war on Gaza did not change that, and neither will more years of their war.

In West Bank, President Abbas cooperated with the IDF to reduce violence and worked for a negotiated end.

Obviously, negotiation was a total failure, with Israel carrying out a policy of humanitarian atrocities that the USA has fully supported and has defended in the UN and other venues.

The failure of Abbas in West Bank didn't go unnoticed. It would have been preposterous for Gaza to sign onto that direction.

So, for 20 years they have tried to make Israel's war on Gaza something that will be recognized as unacceptable - perhaps expensive to Israel, perhaps noted as 20 years of atrocity by the world, perhaps something that the USA or others might want to demand a negotiated solution.

Various groups in Gaza have succeeded in gaining international attention - which is more than can be said for the efforts of negotiation by President Abbas.

Yes, Gaza is still Gaza and people of Gaza didn’t learn a thing in the last 70 years. Until 1967 people of Gaza lived under Egyptian occupation. Did they rebel? Of course not, they knew what Egypt will do to them if they rebel.

In 2005 Israel decided withdraw from Gaza and people in Gaza had free election. Which party people of Gaza elected? They elected Hamas which promised that they will never make peace with Israel and they will fight Israel, because their goal is Muslim Caliphate, where women, gays, atheists and apostates will have a freedom according to Sharia Law.
    https://irp.fas.org/world/para/docs/hamas-2017.pdf

Hamas received billions of dollars from Qatar, UE and UN – did they use this money to improve standard of living? Yes, they improve standard of living of Hamas leadership.

What else Hamas did with all this money? They built underground tunnels into Israel, they build underground tunnels to protect they fighters. Did they build shelters to protect civilian population from bombing? Of course not, why should they do it?

And they spent money of fantastic missiles, arms, suicides jackets and bombs – exactly what civilian population of Gaza wanted.

Many people from Gaza worked in Israel, Israelis come to shop in Gaza, because Gaza had better prices, but this is not what people of Gaza wanted. Hamas was sending suicide bombers to Israel, so Israel stopped accepting workers from Gaza. After Hamas killed few Israelis who shopped in Gaza, Israelis stopped shopping in Gaza. And people of Gaza got exactly what they wanted.

Hamas knew what will be Israeli response to Hamas attacks, so on Oct 7 Hamas did exactly what people of Gaza wanted – and thanks to Israel people of Gaza got it.

The Arabs chose war then and they chose war now. The fact that they are incompetent war-makers simply underlines their irresponsible conduct.

This is just more of the smokescreen to hide the fact that the Arabs chose war rather than partition.

Them 10,000 babies exterminated did not choose war Jack -- Those Babies did not beg the Terrorist IDF to drop 2000 lb bombs on multi level apartment complex in which they were living .. prior to being murdered by the IDF. What a ridiculously poor apology for the Holocaust denial of the highest order.

However many babies have been killed are the responsibility of their parents, who elected the Hamas government who foolishly started a war they were incompetent to prosecute successfully. The sins of the fathers are visited on the children.

The war continues because Israeli Jews refuse to end their illegal military occupation of Palestine and allow the right of return to all non-Jews who have had the homes, businesses, and farms stolen by Jews over the past 75 years.

No Jack . Terror attacks on the Twin Towers was not the responsibility of the workers in the twin towers. Collective punishment . is a war crime Jack.. Hitler doesn't get a pass on the Holocaust because the rebels in the Warsaw Ghetto.

The claim that the families living in proximity to Jewish rebels in the Warsaw ghetto were responsible for the killing of millions of Jews raging Holocaust denial and some very twisted logic on the basis of Religious extremism .. the likes of which any Islamist would be proud.

Look Jack .. I realize the evil Jealous Demon God in the Bible says to visit the sins of the Fathers on the Children .. but hearken to the Good God of the Bible Friend ..

    Deuteronomy 24:16

“Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin"

This is also a Rule of Law principle Jack .. one person not to be punished for the actions of another. Turn from Islamist religious extremism Jack .. Strict Sharia .. Dark age Style is not the path of the Righteous.

Those who would "return" are in part the descendants of people that willingly left in the 1st place to make room for armies surrounding the new Jewish state for the purpose of wiping them out. And Israel ended its occupation of Gaza in 2005. Didn't help.
At this point, people need to figure out how, after 70 years, to end this thing. The best and most just way to do so. And that has the Hamastinians dispersed to some 40 Muslim majority nations in which they can assimilate as Israel annexes what had been known as Gaza. Dunno if they'll give it a new name or not.

In this case the fathers cast the votes that got their sons (and daughters) killed. The responsibility is theirs.

Zalek probably knows this but most do not.

If you go to the Bible and Josh. 15:47, it describes ancient Gaza including its towns and villages a place where in fact the tribe of Judah, not Arabs or Muslims lived. Its actually also where Samson allegedly slayed the Philistines in the Temple of Dagon.

After that King Solomon conquered it and then it began mixing with non Judah tribe members but it remained a part of the southern limits of the Kingdom of Israel.

Then centuries after that it became a slave trade site which the Prophet Amos denounced.

During the Talmudic period, it was actually a pagan city, but not withstanding that local Jews made it a central place to study the Talmud. In the year 508, a synagogue was built in Gaza and Jews would come there from many places. If we look at the writings of 10th century Karaite scholar Sahl ben Matzliah, Gaza was one of three cities in the Land of Israel that served as a place of pilgrimage (theother 2 were Tiberias and Zoar).

The Byzantines began to rule Gaza after after the beginning of the Talmudic period, and they had severe restrictions placed on Jews but there Jews continued to live.

Then in the 7th century, the Jews of Gaza actually fought alongside the Byzantines when the Arabs invaded and seized it in 634 and this is when the first Arab settlers began to migrate to Palestine as a whole including Gaza.

Of course the experts on Gaza on this forum have no phacking clue of the history of Gaza or Jewish indigenous roots to Gaza that superceded any Arab ones. In this present narrative. Jewish history and indigenous history does not exist and poof Arabs or even more absurd, Palestinian Muslims were just always there-poof just like that.

Even during the above mentioned Arab rule, it still became a center of Masorah under Rabbiah (Rav) Moshe.

Records show the Spanish linguist Dunash ben Labrat lived there for a time and during the 11th century, Rabbi Ephraim went from Gaza to the important rabbinical community of Fostat in Egypt.

Then we had the Crusader invasions of 1099 with King Baldwin the Third where most of it was destroyed.

The Mamelukes conquered it in 1291 and the Jewish community revived and Arabs came back and things continued. Jews made a living making wine and selling various grains. It is at this point Samaritans start settling there.

During the 15th century it was actually the largest city in the geographic area referred to as Palestine.

The Mamelukes in alliance with the Arabs then started to pass laws to discriminate against Jews with heavy taxes and forcing them to live in apartheid. The Jews of Hebron and Gaza were in fact refugees who fled persecution in Jerusalem and they had to deal with this latest oppression and they were led in the 1480's by Rabbia Moses who was originally from Prague, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic).

The Turks (Ottoman Empire) took over in 1516. Jews in Gaza were sill living in apartheid (Muslim dhimmitude) but managed.

At one point Napoleon invaded Gaza. Interestingly unlike the majority of French of his time, he was not an anti-semite-however French culture being heavily influenced by its Catholicism and belief Jews were Christ killer demons in fact during that invasion were joined in alliance by local Arabs, raping, killing, harassing the Jews they encountered.

It was because of these constant attacks and massacres the Jewish community pretty much died out by the 19th century.

Then in the late 1870s, a group of Jews managed to settle in Gaza under the leadership of Nissim Elkayam, scholar and businessman and survived as barley merchants who traded with the Beduins for barley which they then sold to the breweries in Europe.

In 1890, the Jews of Gaza became victims of a false blood libel and again attacked.

Then Jews and other non Muslim Arabs were expelled from Gaza by the Turks during World War I then after WW1 came under British rule where Jews again returned 1919, and on the ruins of the old pre-war Talmud Torah School, they established the Shimshon School, one of the most important schools in the entire area.

Then in 1920 and 1921 during the first of many post WW1 attacks, Gaza Arab mobs engaged in forced ethnic cleansing of the Jews of Gaza until 1929 when they were forced out or killed.

Interesting how the geniuses on this thread ignore all this history and poof Gaza only begins in 1949 and only Palestinians are victims of expulsions by wicked Jew Zionists.

Then in 1930 Tuvia Miller ( one of those Jews) of Rehovot, purchased a plot of swampland near Gaza City where she built an orchard. In fact this land was the former site of the ancient Jewish town of Darom which flourished in the Talmudic era and of course destroyed by Arabs but that the site continued to remain under Jewish ownership and in 1946, it was acquired by a Jewish group and the Kibbutz Kfar Darom was built.

Let's get this clear. If you were an Arab Muslim and dared be friendly with Jews it would get you killed.

There is the famous story of Abu Ish, Mukhtar an Arab Muslim, who was a descendant of 7th century Jewish refugees from Arabia (not unusual as Jews existed before Arab Muslims). When it was found out he got along with Jews he was hung in the city centre. No trial needed.

In 1948 the Arab League of nations, a constellation of French and British colonies (Algeria, Morrocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Syria (French), Libya, Sudan,Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Qatar, Oman, where the UAE now is) led by British, French and ex Nazi military officers engaged in a war to kill off all Jews in where Gaza, Israel, the West Bank are).

While they lost Jordan took military control of the West Bank and Egypt expanded Gaza City to include an open air prison called the Gaza strip to imprison Palestinians who Nasser blamed and called cowards for not helping the Arab League defeat the Jews.

No term Palestinian was used for the people of Gaza or West Bank. In fact they ridiculed the use of the word as a national identity. Jordan was already created in 1923 as a Jew free Palestinian state offering citizenship to anyone calling themselves a Palestinian.

The so called displaced Muslims of where Israel was created who fleed Israel were arrested and placed in prison camps by the Arab League armies in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon. The Arab League stated that they would be held in those camps as a reminder that until the West rid the Middle East of Jews they would be held hostage as a reminder of this country.

Israel was no colonial country. It was a country created from 900,000 Jews ethnically cleansed from Arab countries of the Arab League plus the UN and European nations (except France) that turned its back on Jewish refugees. In fact when Israel was created Egypt took back Gaza as a prison and then used the Gaza Strip not to be confused with Gaza City (which remained prosperous) to launch attacks against Israel through what were called the Fedayeen which has mutated since 1948 into all kinds of terror cells who dream of taking back Israel but they now also want the West Bank and Jordan to be molded into a Muslim caliphate to then encourage an even larger caliphate of all Sunni Muslim countries which then in alliance with the Shiite in Syria, Lebanon and Iran (good luck on that) create a larger Muslim caliphate to eventually make one world Muslim government.

As for Egypt's treatment of "Palestinians" they treated them with extreme hatred as do all Arab League nations and the irony is Arafat posed as a Palestinian when he was born to a wealthy family in Egypt and had nothing but contempt for Palestinians and used them as a cover for his drug caravans moving heroin and hash-hish from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan via Syria to Marseilles, France fully protected by France's La Deuximes Bureau and Russia's KGB.

Yes Jack .. those Folks in working in the twin towers cast the votes that got themselves killed .. and the family members of those who cast votes were killed .. and as you say Jack the responsibility is there's .. and the responsibility for the Holocaust was not the brown shirts .. folks that actually carried out the killing of millions of Jews but, those rebellious terrorist Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto who went on a rampage .. that was sound justification for extermination of Jew babies in all Germany .. and every other nation we take as well .. the fault of those rebel terrorist Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto. who escaped the camp . killed, raped, tortured some German women .. and men.

I understand where you are coming from Jack -- but I disagree with this strict sharia ideology . forcing extremist religious belief on others through physical violence is not what the founding principle is made of .. punishing all the children children living on a block with death o the sin of some person living on the next street over .. is not what the Rule of Law nor civil society is made of.
