What will Biden do if Iran attacks Israel?

    The story that Iran might attack Israel has been on most of the news websites I've seen today with some people being quoted as saying Iran probably will attack. If that happens, what does Biden do, what are his options? Having thought about this all day, I really don't see anything he could do that won't make things worse.

    Thoughts?

    I saw how he said that. Based on Biden’s history, I doubt that comment scares anyone.

    Iran ain’t doing crap that’ll risk an open war that’ll risk their nuclear weapons program getting blown to hell. They’ll suffice with their proxies until they get the protection of MAD, which as they know full well, will allow them to do whatever they feel like after that.

    At least, they’d be morons to risk open war till then. Maybe they’re morons? Here’s hoping

    That's a big question. Should USA attack Iran if Iran responds to Israelis killing 13 Iranians in the Syrian consulate...two days ago.

    iGuess it depends if USA wants to look like evil warmongers rather than just warmongers.

    Sending thoughts and prayers is usually enough for rightists when violent attacks happen to innocent folks. Maybe he will do the same?

    If I was Bibi, I’d tell Iran that if they attacked me, then they can say goodbye to their oil producing infrastructure. I’m also thinking that, if Iran is attacked, their terror cells in this country will be getting phone calls.

    Only if they want the wrath of Israel to drop on them like the wrath of God.

    Israel is fully capable of blowing Irans military back to the dark ages.

    Pretty sure Iran knows this. Don't think they'll attack Israel.

    Iran will use surrogates IF they attack. Which gives everyone a plausible justification to remain out of direct conflict.

    Yes, I think Netanyahu wanted to wedge Biden into a position of unconditional support versus Iran.

    On the other hand, the spectacle of US diplomats running to various capitals to beg them to use their influence on Iran to soften any retaliation against Israel doesn't do anything to enhance the US' reputation. Our discomfort at being manipulated by Israel is evident.

    Quiet? You mean like over a hundred attacks on US personnel in the area Houthi attacking shipping in the Red Sea which doesn't happen without Iranian resupply and permission. To say nothing of the fact that Iran is run by the same sort messianic Nut bags that were in charge at Waco.
