I don't really understand why the courts can't apply the law. In Ohio, a squatter has to occupy the property to 21 years in order to claim ownership. Why doesn't the courts treat these people as trespassers instead of squatters? Perhaps one of our resident lawyers can inform me.

Send all of the Jehovah witnesses and every single Evangelical evangelist organization you can to the door. That's a start.

Call code enforcement for any little thing.

Park in front of the street honking the horn in the wee hours of the night in different vehicles to make them paranoid. Most squatters are on dope so it's fairly easy to induce paranoia.

Come on man, use some imagination here.

    LOL that won't do ****.

You're the owner o wise and learned one, code enforcement tags you for the fines and fees.

Noise violation, that's going to fall back on you. Escalate it far enough and its harassment and or stalking. Further: Your neighbors are liable to come out there and beat the dog **** out of you for it.

Yeah let me use my imagination: Post a ****ing 3 day notice to vactate and when they don't leave file for eviction. Have them out in a month and a half which is WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY faster than sending jws.

I think the idea is that sometimes people get scammed into paying rent to a scammer, who has no power to rent the property. if the tenant is acting on good faith, throwing them out in the street with nowhere to go, and no time to find somewhere to go seems pretty inhumane

If someone steals your car and sells it, would it be inhumane to take back your car and leave them with no mode of transportation?

According to Texas Governor Greg Abbott:

"In Texas, anyone "squatting" in your home is breaking the law.
They are criminals violating TX laws like criminal trespass & criminal mischief (Tex. Penal Code 30.05 & 28.03).
Also, the Texas Castle Doctrine empowers Texans to use force to defend themselves & their property.

Laws are on the books. Each state has their own squatters laws.

    ...
In Texas, squatters’ rights laws state that a squatter who occupies a property openly, continuously, and hostilely for 10 years or more can legally claim ownership of the property through adverse possession. The rationale behind squatter's rights laws is that if a property owner neglects their property for an extended period of time, and a squatter maintains, improves, lives on, and pays taxes on the property, the squatter can be rewarded with ownership.

They are known and admitted liars.
So, take anything they write about with a grain of salt and assume the story isn't accurate, as a 1st response.

Every State has squatter laws. Even extreme conservative Texas.
Know the topic before posting nonsense about things you know nothing about and blame groups of people.

    ...
What are Squatters’ Rights in Texas?
Squatters’ rights, also known as adverse possession, is a legal concept that allows people occupying an abandoned or vacant property to potentially gain legal ownership of that property after a set period of continuous possession.

Why don't you know the topic before you post and look at the new anti-squatting laws passed in Florida

Actually, he should know better, because Texas has "squatters rights" laws in the books, including the ability of the squatter to claim the property of all rules are followed.

Or maybe you should check what the topic is, because its not about Florida.

Biden has been squatting in the White House for three years now.
The democrats are the party of disruption of social norms. The more chaos the left creates the less people well hear about America's dysfunction.

That does happen. I bought my house through hud auction. Found out that previously my house had renters who paid on time each month. The owner of the home took the rent money but didn't pay the mortgage. One day the renters were evicted with hardly any notice when the owner lost the house. Perhaps if they had gotten a lawyer?

But ultimately our laws should protect owners from opportunist squatters.

That has nothing at all to do with liberals. As you want to lay blame.
Why don't you look at the laws before making ignorant blames?
