It's yet another longstanding norm that Democrats have broken. They've been pretty vocal about Trump and republicans breaking norms, but from where I stand, they are as guilty as anyone. I guess we know how the pubs will react to the next Trump impeachment. Whatever relevance impeachment still had, it will have even less now. Democrat reps are like children.

Congress oversees cabinet secretaries unlike Presidents. Those cabinet officers must be confirmed by the Senate and are subject to congressional oversight. When one refuses to uphold the law and do the job he is mandated to do that under the language of the Constitution a misbehavior, misdemeanor, offense and if the President does not act then they have impeachment in order to do so and withdraw their consent. This is not about policy this is about enforcing the law and protecting our national security. AND on top of that he has given conflicting testimony and refuses to supply the committees with the information demanded.

 

Not what the Senate decides in an impeachment you know that, even you harp on Trump being an impeached President and was not exonerated in both of his impeachments.

With the current state of our Southern border, the number of young Chinese males that have illegally entered since the beginning of the year is approaching 30,000.............30,000. We could have over 100,000 untrackable Chinese males in our country by the end of the year not counting last years.

Why is Mayorkis still in office and why doesn't this administration show at least SOME concern about it?

 

It would not have resolved the issue it would have made it worse, there is NOTHING stopping Biden from shutting down the border crossings instead he and Mayorkis are facilitating them and fighting against the states trying to stop them.

The PROPER bill to do so was passed almost 10 months ago why is Biden whining about a bill when there has been one awaiting Schumer passing it and sending it to the White House, they could do it tomorrow. He won't he put it to committee, just like this impeachment they do not want to stop it. 30,000 young male Chinese, unaccountable just since the first of the year be damned.

Those judicial picks that you identified was done because Republicans were refusing to even hear judges across the nation leaving seats vacant. It occurred because Republicans were not doing their job. Just like with the USSC seat, that happened because Republicans politicians crave power even if they have to lie cheat and steal in elections.

I do hope one thing comes from this — I hope Democrats realize they are not up against an opponent acting in good faith and respond accordingly.
