One of the most important features of the EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) is that it is refundable. That means the taxpayer will receive the full amount of the credit, even if the amount is larger than their tax liability. How nice, work all year and Uncle Joe Biden wants to send you money when you file your income taxes, even if you made enough money to owe the IRS $1,000. Where will the money come from -- raising taxes on the wealthy. It's called income redistribution aka socialism aka rob the rich to pay the poor aka buying votes aka penalizing success. Returning money to households to boost the economy after a pandemic is one thing. That helps everyone. It's another thing to pass tax laws that tax the successful people so that money can be given to the underachievers. That penalizes the successful and does no favor for the underachievers. This is plain to understand if you know anything about human nature.

Biden's requested budget for 2025 is a whopping $7.3 TRILLION.
It includes $5.5 TRILLION in tax hikes.

Got that? Tax revenue in 2023 was $4.7 TRILLION.
So biden is talking about more than doubling the taxes American pay.

In 2023 the annual budget was $6.1 TRILLION.
Biden's 2025 budget request includes a 20% increase in spending.

• We should cut the budget for 2025 to under $5 TRILION.
• Across the board, a 20-25% budget cut.
• Social Security, Medicare, disability payments are exempted but administration budgets are also subject to the cuts.
• After 2025 new expenditures will require that a dedicated revenue source be included. General revenue or existing taxes cannot be used; all of that money is already accounted for.
• Any new revenue goes first to reducing the debt.
• Balanced budgets must be submitted on time and passed.
• Failure stops funding for all elected officials involved in the budget process until a budget is passed.

 

I don’t understand why GOP worry about tax hike. Most of the Red state take federal aid. if anyone concern about tax hike should be Blue state DEMS who pays most of the tax.

 

Well the plan is to replace all these MAGA with Latinos. So far DEMS plan is working. GA, AZ, NV, NM, CO, MI used to be RED . now they are blue. It’ just matter of time RED state no longer have anything to sell. May be moonshine to sell but , we liberals drink wine.
