Free Speech, But Not Entirely

    You just read my response to your hypothetical:

    " IF "death to america" was part of a larger diatribe that included language or threats or incitements that met the legal definition of "hate speech" and a conviction was obtained, then YES, it shouldn't be protected as free speech. "

    So, if we are being consistent, "death to america" on it's own and isolated would fail the test of "hate speech" and therefore be free speech.

    Fighting words have to actually direct a specific threat toward someone. This doesn't cut it.

    Hook line and sinker. So, never again will you ever rant about what Trump said in relation to the Set up at the capitol..... Never again.. right?? LMAO.
