This woman would fit right in down here. I hereby recommend her (like it matters ) for honorary American citizenship.

Tasha Kheiriddin reported on pro-Palestinian Canadian demonstrators:

“Our resistance attacks are proof that we are almost free,” one marcher said, to the cheers of the crowd. “Oct. 7 is proof that we are almost free. Long live Oct. 7, long live the resistance, long live the intefadeh, long live every form of resistance.”

    And then later:

"A society functions when people accept a common baseline of behaviour and shared rules of engagement. It fails when a subgroup of people believes the end justifies the means, and that their end is the most important thing going.

When that happens, we need leaders willing to stand up and say: stop. And then act to make it stop."

Warning to Joe Biden? Increasingly, Americans believe we need some of that action here when it comes to the chaos on our streets and at our southern border. High rent and home prices are pushing the poorest among us--those who don't own homes and have assets--closer to poverty.

    What's your take?

    I agree

Food is extremely expensive, over a 100% increase in cost. My happy meal cost me $15 today
Last night my ice cream cone cost $10
Today I feel guilty that I spent that kind of money.

Housing, should be the easiest thing in life to afford. There should of never been 30 year mortgages. Partly why we can no longer afford homes.
Why are millions of high rise condominiums not available in our largest cities that a person that graduated high school can afford to buy?

Student loan programs to pay more for an education than it costs to buy a house?

    The government is destroying us.

Thinking of ice cream cones... in the late 1950s. I bought huge soft ice cream cone in Zion National Park for 5¢. That's right--five cents.
Longer mortgages allow for higher home prices.
Why aren't single-family homes available, too?
Millions of Americans are falling out of the middle class. Full-time workers, and that includes salaried employees, have had a pay increase of note for many years.

All that is true. The part that is disturbing is people who will not blame our politicians. I state politicians purposely because there are bad people on both sides, as there are good people on both sides.
