--Things are going from bad to worse for President Biden. --The 81-year-old Democrat notched the lowest approval rating, 38.7%, of any president at this point in their first term in office, according to Gallup. --“None of the other nine presidents elected to their first term since Dwight Eisenhower had a lower 13th-quarter average than Biden,” Gallup said, referring to the period between Jan. 20 and April 19. “From a broader historical perspective, Biden’s most recent quarterly average ranks 277th out of 314 presidential quarters in Gallup records dating to 1945. That puts it in the bottom 12% of all presidential quarters.” --- You can fool some of the people all the time, but you can't fool the majority of the people all the time. People are also wise to the media's liberal slant and fake news. I can't wait to hear Biden's explanation of why he lost. He might even top Hillary's explanations.
Don't count your political chickens before they hatch. Trump approval rating was not that much higher than Biden's number is at this point in his presidency. Since then, Trump has gotten a lot more bad press from the progressive news media plus 92 indictments or whatever the the trumped up number is. Trump also has a talent for saying the wrong thing. It's going to be a contest between two unpopular candidates. It's going to come down to who can get their core vote to the polls and now many additional votes the Democrats can manufacture. I view Trump as a longshot. If he were a better candidate, like Ronald Reagan was in 1980, it would be a challenge but winnable. Incumbents always have an advantage because they can use Federal Government funds and programs to buy votes as Biden is doing with his student loan forgiveness program. Trump is a weaker candidate than Reagan was with the constant court cases weighing him down. The Democrats are also far better at cheating than they were in 1980. A majority of people want to vote Democrat if they possibly can. That dates from the days of "Saint Franklin Roosevelt" and his New Deal. The Democrats are "for the little people" after all, although The Green New Deal, excessive government spending and other heavy handed, regulation filled Democrat programs are making that assumption a myth. The officials in Washington are mostly into "public service" for themselves on both sides of the aisle.
You have proven that Biden's followers are not a cult. Maybe you're young and don't remember this, but that's how it ALWAYS used to be before Trump. In the end, people will show up at the ballot boxes knowing that their choices are Biden or Trump. They might remember that one of the two is proven sexual abuser who paid off a porn star to keep her quiet and an indicted criminal who is out on bail. And that the other created jobs, but made gas more expensive. But that those are the only choices. At that point, nothing else will matter to most voters.
Created jobs?? Really??? The vast majority of those jobs are jobs that people returned to after the pandemic. And many did not even return to their jobs. The labor participation rate was 63.3% in Feb 2020 prior to the pandemic. The labor participation rate was 62,7% in March 2024. That means around a million workers did not return to work. You really need to get off of that created jobs crap.
The votes have already been counted for 2024. Biden received 20 million more votes than Trump even if Trump gets 180 million votes
This poll came out today. CNN Poll: Trump maintains lead over Biden in 2024 matchup as views on their presidencies diverge Trump’s support in the poll among registered voters holds steady at 49% in a head-to-head matchup against Biden, the same as in CNN’s last national poll on the race in January, while Biden’s stands at 43%, not significantly different from January’s 45%. Looking back, 55% of all Americans now say they see Trump’s presidency as a success, while 44% see it as a failure. In a January 2021 poll taken just before Trump left office and days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, 55% considered his time as president a failure. Assessing Biden’s time in office so far, 61% say his presidency thus far has been a failure, while 39% say it’s been a success. That’s narrowly worse than the 57% who called the first year of his administration a failure in January 2022, with 41% calling it a success. https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/28/politics/cnn-poll-trump-biden-matchup/index.html
People are not returning to jobs three years after the Pandemic. In any case, he has created way more jobs than just those lost by Trump's disastrous handling of the Pandemic. But the point is that the job creator is the only alternative to the indicted criminal. Anybody who thinks that gas prices are more important than keeping an indicted criminal away from the WH will vote for Trump, and there is no way around that.
They should also remember one man made himself a millionaire by smart work while the other man made himself a millionaire while being on the government teat all his adult life. "Show me a person who became rich while holding public office and I'll show you a crook" -- Harry Truman
Oh boy! BLS Definition of LFPR; Percentage of the Civilian Noninstitutional Population that is either working or actively looking for work. Mathematically, and since Feb 2020, a million + workers haven’t gone back to work, and/or haven’t actively looked for work, HOWEVER, your conclusion isn’t based on reasoning, for example; Fact; End of February 2020, we were producing 12.85 million barrels per day, end of January 2021, 11.14 million bpd, down 1.71 million bpd. Question; How come our oil producers haven’t fully opened their taps when demand picked up! REASONING…. There are 10 reasons why, and I know them all. Thus, reference to X number of workers who haven’t gone back to work, there are 10 reasons why, and I know them all, and mainly pandemic related reasons.
Folks, reference to X number of workers who haven’t gone to work “AS A NON-FARM EMPLOYED”, here’s a big one; NOTE; BLS Non-farm EXCLUDES Self- Employed Unincorporated Self-Employed Unincorporated January 2017; 9.347 million January 2020; 9.448 million + 100,000 January 2024; 10.176 million + 728,000 Source; BLS Archives, Employment Situation, Table A-9 Note; In February 2020, I was a Non-farm employee, today, a self-employed unincorporated Next……Pandemic Covid deaths/Excess death…..how many haven’t gone back work because they were buried, or due to a pandemic related disability?
I suggest that now, even more than ever, people will vote on the basis of "What's in it for ME?".... When that's the single most-important focus, most voters will choose a Democrat, because for the last 90 years that's where the unearned "manna" comes from in abundance! ."Hurry, hurry, hurry... get your free stuff here, folks!"
That will probably be THE LAST thing on the voters' minds. But if it is, they would most likely assume that he became a billionaire by ripping of people and creating a criminal organization. I mean, how else would a criminal become a billionaire? Anyway... how Trump made his money will unlikely be on anybody's mind. But, if it is, I doubt that will be to his advantage. Not bad for a guy who's supposed to not have the mental acuity to tie his own shoes...
You just admitted he's smart! Sarcasm is not something MAGAs perceive. So you can always use it to get them to confess what they REALLY think.
We have an actual moron for president. And what's worse than that is that we have legions who think it's a good idea to vote for him again.
The Biden voters with a brain know they are voting a far left cabal with a near mindless figurehead put forward as the president. Others think they are Democrats voting for their leader.
But no matter which variety of Democrat votes for Biden (both of them will, of course), together they'll capture 270 Electoral Votes rapidly and easily, and we'll continue on our uninterrupted slide into oblivion... right on schedule!
Reference to Biden’s LFPR, here’s another eye-opener Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis WHY ARE WORKERS STAYING OUT OF THE U.S. LABOR FORCE…..Feb 02, 2022 Retirement……The Great Resignation “Had the proportion of retired individuals continue to increase at the same pre-pandemic rate, there would be about 2.4 million fewer retirements than there are now” __________ Note; BLS classifies retirees as NOT IN LABOR FORCE Question; Besides Kriman, are there other MAGAs who want to criticize Biden’s LFPR, and be ridiculed?
I have quite a few liberal friends (amazing I know), just regular people. At this point, they fall into these categories: 1. Admit they made a mistake voting for Biden (this is the smallest group) 2. Just don't want to talk politics anymore. 3. Deny they voted for Biden (even though I know they did) People will vote according to how their own lives are going. Most people couldn't care less about Trump's legal problems or Biden's. They don't care about the GDP or statistics saying crime has gone down (even though they just got mugged). They will vote according to their own family economics (i.e. the price of groceries and gas) and they will vote according to how scared they are (illegal aliens moving into their neighborhoods, crime in their communities, wars that will need their children). People vote on issues that affect their families.
But they still have not gone back to work for whatever reason. To claim that the jobs are created is simply wrong. Everywhere you look there are help wanted signs and they are to fill jobs which were vacated during the pandemic.
