Nancy Pelosi is now 84-years-old and has joined the ranks of 81-year-old Biden in cogitative decline. She was on MSNBC, a lefty democrat news station, being interviewed by lefty Katy Tur. Pelosi claimed that Trump had lost 9 million jobs. Believe it or not Tur's eyes widened and she said, "That was because of the Covid shutdown". That surprised me coming from Tur.
Crazy Pelosi then replied by calling Tur an apologist for Trump. Huh.
Pelosi and Biden are very adept at embarrassing themselves when they try to discuss a subject. But then they both feel they don't have to answer to anyone.

I don't know that Pelosi was really a very good speaker. She was a master at the game of politics, though, and did politics all the time every time. I don't consider that a compliment.

• The international trade deficit Trump promised to reduce went up. The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services in 2020 was the highest since 2008 and increased 40.5% from 2016.
• The number of people lacking health insurance rose by 3 million.
• The federal debt held by the public went up, from $14.4 trillion to $21.6 trillion.

It's impressive that Katy Tur said that. This implies MSNBC is being unbiased here. Pelosi was being like any political animal, trying to shift blame or credit for political advantage.

 

When Pelosi was Speaker, she was the worst person in government by a wide margin. She ran the House with an iron fist and wasted taxpayers' money with useless spending. She divided the country just as much as Trump did with her childish behavior. Ripping up a State of the Union speech looked like the conduct of a kindergartener. Don't tell me that Trump has a corner on immature behavior.

She also got very rich though insider trading. She told hubby what legislation was coming up, and he bought stocks accordingly. She got caught red handed one time. Anyone else would have been kicked out of the House, but not Nancy Pelosi. She got special treatment because she's in Democrat leadership.

Nancy Pelosi should be in jail, not the House.

 

Trump also had the largest job gain by any recent president from April 2020 to August 2020. The economy gained around three million jobs.

But none of that is significant, because it all was a result of Covid and Covid recovery.

 

I don't think Trump should be blamed for the COVID job losses nor should Biden be credited when the jobs returned. Those things happened independently of the presidency.

Your pronouncement that, "she should be in jail," begs the question as to why no Republican has ever concocted any criminal charges against her.

She is blaming Trump for the loss of jobs due to Covid. If she is going to take that approach, then Biden is responsible for around 780,000 deaths due to Covid as opposed to Trump who is responsible for around 400,000 deaths due to Covid. Loss of life is much more serious than losing jobs. We should charge Biden with manslaughter if he is responsible for all those deaths.

 

Translation: she was one of the most effective, respected Speakers in US history. So Repub board members must apply Orwellian revisionist history to her legacy. Of course, RWM and some congressional Repubs loathed her for her record of success because she has made them look like the petulant children they are.
