The 1st does not apply to speech that intentionally does harm.

The press is protected when telling the truth, or publishing something in error. With so many sources available today, it's pretty easy to see or read the difference between misinformation in order to obfuscate (which I think is legally questionable, but I'm likely wrong) and misinformation for the purpose of directly slandering someone.

I'm in favor of a free press, I'm against all censorship, except when an information entity is deliberately trying to smear someone. That's what Fox did to Hunter Biden according to his attorney, and if she thinks she can prove it, she should file a defamation lawsuit.
