The differences are unimportant. To us is not France and it can never be.

Then you, of all people should know, but then maybe you don't the difference between shooting a target and or animal compared to someone actually engaging you in a shootout!

No it isn't. Nobody would be asking. Nobody asks me to carry a firearm. I do it because I choose to and that's how it work for teachers.

Nobody's asking them to do anything what's happening Here is restrictive pointless laws are being removed.

then the argument is over. The capability to do that is going to be superior to the incapability to do that.
Cowardice, incompetence, no personal connection to the children. Being on the outside.

Also it was a man with a gun that stopped the uvalde shooter.

Now if you had someone with a firearm that had a connection to the kids that was on the inside that would be a tactical advantage.

And yet police are able to engage active shooters all the damn time except for that day.

Remember these are the people who are trained to run towards the gunfire instead of away from it

And yet somehow certain cops manage not to be cowards when the time comes.

They had weapons as good and better than the shooter and covered in body armor and they were still cowering cowards.

But since you're the expert on it why don't you tell us why they didn't go and do it?

Scores of them against one kid with a gun. The only possible conclusion is that they were all cowards or that they were instructed to stand by

Wow, did that one kid with the gun that day receive super special training from The matrix or something?

So what your saying, is the person carrying the gun, and not just “more guns”

    Yet they didnt do that.

AGAIN, it’s the person, not the gun. “More guns” solves nothing….

No. And thats exactly the point.

You had 367 TRAINED OFFICERS with superior firepower, and yet they stood by and watched kids get killed ror 2 hours

ITS NOT THE GUN, hence “more guns” is a ridiculous argument. 367 lost to 1…….

Are you sufficiently... seasoned, lol, to have been around after the FBI had that horrific shootout in Miami (mid-80s IIRC) & traded in their wheelguns for autoloaders? I was a teenager at the time, and my uncle was a US Marshall. He said it was a wake up call for feds across the board. Not just weapons, but tactics. Prior to that shootout, the training was almost exclusively defensive.

Incidentally, there's a certain troll that I'm flushing into the "ignore" sewer, where it will join a number of other rancid turds. If anyone wonders why I no longer engage with it, now you know. There's a limit to the amount of malignant stupidity I can endure.

Yeah, cause Mrs wood with a few days at a range can handle any and all active shooter situations far better than trained police force.

Jesus, there is no way y'all actually believe this horseshit, right?

So they had Superior firepower and numbers and body armor and all other manner of weapons and the cowards still set there on their ass.

You think this is making some sort of argument that it's really difficult to go and use a gun for self-defense but what you're really doing is reinforcing the point that all of these cops were cowards

How about you Walter? Do you think you have the ability in you to pull the trigger to defend yourself?

You'll have a hard time convincing me a trained & armed teacher could've done any worse than the Uvalde Police.
34 states have approved armed teachers, and 100s of schools have pulled the trigger (pun intended). Including my daughter, who is wrapping up her first school year as one of the armed staff on her campus. Don't you wish someone like her had been onsite at Uvalde, after the cops had decided to let the shooter commit mass murder inside their perimiter? If not, why?

    BOTH

Yes the cops were cowards. But they were TRAINED to go in, so what do you think the weekend Rambo who isnt trained is gunna do when he has a gun. You got it, he will do even less.

But you think you just walk in the room, shoot the bad guy, and then go on Fox News and smile and accept accolades ?

    Just wow

yeah we all studied that, SA Grogan-one of the two agents killed- lost his eyeglasses during a felony stop. BTW I applied to the FBI when I was a law student. The recruiting agent asked me to hand him my glasses (this was before LASIK which I had in 2000). He said "sorry son, you cannot pass the vision test" 6 years later I had a bunch of FBI agents answer to me but that was as a AUSA in the DOJ. John Benner-founder of the Tactical Defense Institute used to go over this shooting at some of his classes. The Firearms instructor for our local FBI component and the sniper in that regional HRT, used to go over it a bunch too. One of the agents lost a revolver he had placed under his leg in the car for instant access. During the collision it went flying.

The FBI decided that trying to reload revolvers under the extreme pressure of a firefight was grounds to replace them with semi auto handguns. Some criticized the lack of stopping power of the 38 revolvers and 9mm Smith semi autos. IIRC SA Mireles killed the two mopes with 38+P rounds fired out of a 357 SW

I wouldn't have a CCW if I didn't. Not sure what that has to do with having an untrained school teacher deal with an active shooter situation.

Here's a novel idea, let's not allow dangerous guns get so easily in the hands of dipshits that shouldn't have them. How many stories did your parents tell you of all the active shooter situations they had to go through in their schools?

So where do you think the little teenage gunman got all of his extensive training that they were so afraid to go up against?

Color me unsurprised you don't have the balls to answer the question. Not quite sure what my parents have to do with the thread topic, but you do you. I assume your "dipshit" remark refers to vermin like the shooter, and not people like my daughter, who have volunteered to defend against them should the need arise. But if I'm wrong about that, I'm sure you'll set me straight.

I'm talking about the dipshits that our Countries laws allow to walk in to any gun store, gun show and buy a pew pew and shoot up Children cause Merica! Clearly not your daughter.

How many times do you think your Parents, hell even yourself had to deal with an active shooter in school? If the answer is zero, now ask yourself why?

    Saavy?
