It's bad that he stole government documents to brag about or sell to his foreign cronies, and in a just society, he could end up like the Rosenbergs, but I think that the notion of national security, like privacy online, is highly overrated, and most of our opponents already know a lot of our secrets.
Heck, Joe Stalin knew we had an atom bomb even before we used it in ww2 and the Chinese have installed monitoring devices on all the industrial stuff we get from them, like ship loading cranes, and know what we are doing, so what trump stole to sell or show off doesn't compare to the multiple acts of sedition and treason he committed to keep himself in power after losing the election.
Any real American should be completely against any potus who attempted such things, and the thought that there are enough voters that would excuse such behavior and vote again for this person is truly depressing and speaks very poorly about those people.

That was a nice thing for Trump to do. If he'd stuck to doing things like that and not breaking the law, he wouldn't be in all the hot water he's in. If buying pizza for first responders absolved you of your crimes, we'd have the fattest first responders in the world.

The fact you actually have to question why I despise someone who has multiple felony indictments that believes he should be POTUS simply to wipe away his crimes is astonishing. Again I have to ask, how can anyone actually support someone with over 90 felony indictments and want him to be President?
